This was the perfect place to stay for our weekend getaway. It was quiet and very clean. The staff are amazing and attentive. All in all, we had exactly what we needed for the best couples getaway.

This is our second stay! Great service, very clean, updates rooms, very friendly and personable owners. We cannot recommend this place enough, definitely give it a look when you're staying in the Holland/Saugatauk area, very close to cool areas.

I would definitely recommend this accommodation for a visit to Saugatuck. It is a well maintained motel. Crystal was a very congenial hostess. The continental breakfast had plenty of selections. I especially liked the coded access to our room. No keys or cards to lose. The only negatives were the noise from the air freshening system and the pillows were a bit hard. Would certainly stay here again.

Very friendly and accommodating staff/owners. Great location- walking distance to town. Clean rooms and perfect free coffee and breakfast! We got there early and our room was ready. We needed a slight adjustment on checkout time and it was no problem!

My arrival into Saugatuck for Tulip time in April was difficult due to getting lost using GPS (not reliable in this area) AND road construction, barricades with impassible roads (new roundabouts are now in and looking good). After a phone call to the motel, they talked me into the property, commiserated with a smile, and diffused my anger. The room was lovely and safe and grounds beautiful. Thanks for a good stay and calming me down :)

The Captain's Quarters motel was wonderful. The towels were nice and fluffy, not your thin white standard hotel/motel towels. The bed and pillows were perfect after a long day out. The room was spotless. Close to all the area attractions. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend, especially if traveling with elderly people.

I had my family in for the Halloween weekend. It was the last weekend Captain's Quarters was open for the season. My family booked two rooms and were very happy with the accommodations and the room updates. It's walkable to downtown Saugatuck, which was a plus.

The motel was nice and close to downtown. It's within walking distance if you have good shoes. Lots of restaurants and shops within a mile or two, easy walk with sidewalks most of the way. Good motel for a night or two, nice lobby area, clean room and friendly owners. The antique emporium, dune buggy rides and ice cream/pancake are just down the road.

Very nice small motel, very clean and the breakfast buffet was very good. If you drink decaf coffee in the morning, be sure to tell them otherwise they don't make it unless you ask. Room was clean and comfortable and the location is great only about one mile from town.
