Ranthambhore Heritage Haveli

We had a very nice stay for 3 nights during our visit to Ranthambore National Park. The rooms are clean and comfortable, food was great and service was top notch, especially the guys in the dining room! The location close to the entrance of the national park (zones 1-5) was very convenient. We would absolutely stay again on our next visit to Ranthambore.

This is a well maintained heritage haveli and it gives the feeling of grand days gone by. Hotel staff were attentive. Not a wide selection at breakfast but perfectly adequate - the freshly cooked omelette was very good. Yes, it is down a dusty road, and that is part of an authentic safari experience. Breakfast is served in the courtyard, and dinner was by candlelight in the garden. The pool is not big, but the size is fine for cooling off after safari. We had a ground floor room which had working amenities.

Lovely place and I enjoyed my stay here.The rooms were really nice and spacious and the food and service was excellent. I really wish they would clean away the dead cows (and trash) which are right outside the property though. We went for walk ***** the entrance road to see what birds we could see. There were lots of birds around but the constant smell of decaying animals got a bit much and was overpowering at times. Could the animals not be moved/buried away from the road and out of of sight?

First and foremost Service is excellent. The staff is very cordial and friendly. Rooms are clean and well appointed. Location is little tricky but it’s good off room close to park

Auf den Fotos seht ihr, dass das Haveli wirklich einzigartig ist. Typisch Indisch aber nur in Rajastan gibt es solche schönen Bauten - auch für Touristen. Von der Crew im Hotel wurde *** mehr als betreut. Sie kannten jeden Gast, seine Vorlieben und wann seine Safaris sind. Das Hauptgate der Kernzonen 1-5 im Ranthambore Park war 10 min. entfernt. Für die Morgensafari gab es immer Kaffee, Kekse und Decken. Nach der Morgensafari wartete ein ausgiebiges Frühstück. Das Essen war morgens (auch warme Speisen) und abends mehr als schmackhaft. Mit dem, was *** dort alles bekommt, war Frühstück und Abendessen mehr als genug. Firoz Khan als Freund einer Freundin hat alles (Transfer, Hotel, Safaris) reibungslos organisiert. Er ist ein Freund des Hotels und dementsprechend wurde ich noch mehr auf Wolken gebettet als sowieso schon. Die Zimmer sind sehr großräumig, klimatisiert, jeden Tag 2 Flaschen Trinkwasser, immer freies WLAN, Kosmetikprodukte und Fön vorhanden, in dem Bett konnte *** außerdem toll schlafen. Nach der Nachmittagssafari habe ich mir immer ein Kingfisher Bier gegönnt, das Hotel hat dazu Nüsse gereicht. Als besonderes Highlight hatte das Hotel einen Himmelsforscher ab 19 Uhr vor dem Hotel, durch dessen Teleskop *** Mondkrater und andere Planeten sehen konnte. Eine wirklich tolle Woche!

Well, certainly the prettiest I've stayed in. The beautiful gardens are English Country meets Exotic India - and are immaculately tended to. Next, the architecture of the building is truly stunning, with courtyards and fountains, archways and sunny balconies. It is truly a haven away from the hustle and bustle of the town. Last, but certainly not least are the amazing staff, who were always friendly, polite and very efficient at running an often busy hotel - the hotel is used by tour companies, which shows it must be good. However, most tours only stay a couple of nights for safaris and then move on. We had the pleasure of staying 6 nights, as we extended our stay here rather than return to the chaos of Delhi. During our stay the general manager Kamran was an absolute star. We had no safaris booked and this was our main purpose of visiting. He organised 5 safaris for us in different zones, with drivers to take and pick us up. These were canter safaris, as jeeps get booked up months in advance. I was sceptical that the canter would be as good as a jeep because but it certainly was. In fact on several occasions the canters had better tiger sightings than the jeeps and it was great to have a mixture of nationalities making friends spotting wildlife. The manager, Kamran also organised a driver to take us to the very impressive Ranthambore Fort, where we spent a couple of hours walking. Finally Kamran went out of his way to advise us on train seats and book tickets for us back to Delhi. We greatly appreciated his help and the rest of his team throughout.
