Harbourside Apartments with Private Parking

Great Apartment Great location for exploring on foot. Having own parking garage was a huge benefit. The communication and interaction with the host was very good. We attended the Open Air Theatre and was about a 40min walk. The tea, coffee, milk etc. was a nice touch also.

My husband and I had 4 days at the apartment, The host’s Anna and James were very helpful. Sent messages as to where the place was how to get there and even waited on the corner to take us to our parking area. The car was parked in a very safe place. Tea coffee hot chocolate available also cereal bread and butter. The apartment itself was very clean and comfortable. Toiletries were also available with towels soap and flannels. You are right on the sea front. Plenty of shops arcades and places to eat. We had a great Sunday lunch at The Welcome Inn (Worth going ) also the Ask Italian across the road was lovely. 10 mins walk to the town Will definitely be staying there again. My mrs and I stayed in apartment 4 and it was immaculately clean, it had everything you need for cooking if that’s what you want to do including cutlery pots and pans etc. it’s just across the road from a nice Italian restaurant which we used a few times and there are so many fish and chip shops 😂. We were kept up to date by James who is a sound guy and he can recommend so many places to visit. Have to say we would definitely book here again it was amazing value

We visited as a family of four in apartment 3 for a three night stay recently. We were so happy to find the apartments as we’d only ever stayed near the spa but Harbourside is so much more convenient for the local attractions being right on the promenade. The Juliet balcony gave beautiful views over Scarborough. We were helped with our bags to the apartment and given a voucher for a free ice cream, which my 8 year old appreciated very much (as did we all!) Secure parking is included with your stay which is a huge plus, as you can visit other places and be guaranteed of a space when you return. The apartment was spotlessly clean, with everything we needed. Bread, butter, milk, hot drinks and jams meant breakfast the next day was covered, with recommendations from the owner James to try Lookout on the Pier for breakfast, a place we’ve enjoyed lunch at many times but we did try it for breakfast and it did not disappoint. Clarins toiletries were a nice touch in the spacious bathroom, and on each floor of the apartments there is a washer and dryer which was very appreciated as we went swimming in Bridlington on one day. The apartments come with a complimentary day in a beach hut on the North Bay, we enjoyed a morning drinking hot chocolate, walking on the beach and playing mini golf. We were blessed with good weather and the apartment being so well located meant we could enjoy all the local attractions and enjoy a comfortable stay too. We all really loved our stay in the Harbourside Apartments and we will definitely be staying again :)

We stayed for 3 nights and it was on the whole lovely. A great view from the top floor, over 40 steps so think about that. The rooms are well set out and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the bread, milk and butter was a lovely addition. The only thing that spoilt it for us was the noise, not the noise from people or the nearby shops , bars or amusement arcade. It was the noise from the coach pick up and drop off lay-by just across the road. There was at least 1 coach most of the time parked with its engine running. We took advantage of the beach hut 🥳 a lovely way to spend time just people watching with a cup of tea (or beer) We were helped by Anna as she gave us pointers to where we could park for free. We would have taken the bus but couldn’t work the timetable out 😂 Surprisingly the info we needed was on the wall but in the beach hut…. Free and secure parking was a great bonus. We didn’t meet James but the communication was excellent.

Excellent quality apartment in a great location. In a prime location opposite the harbour, where you get the real buzz of the town, and our third floor apartment had great views over the harbour and South Bay . Ideally located close to bars and cafes with great choice of places to eat and drink, all within a five minute walk. The apartment is modern, clean and fresh looking with all the facilities you would need for a self catering stay, but with the great choice of places to eat and drink nearby, we only used them for breakfast and supper, utilizing the handy welcome pack left by the owner - bread, jam, cereal, milk, tea, coffee which lasted us our four days The bathroom is modern looking with travertine effect tiles and a large walk-in rain shower. Ideal for a soak after a lon day on your feet taking in the local area or a quick freshen up about 4 times a day because the weather was so amazingly hot during our stay. The bedroom had a double bed which is comfortable and just about enough space for two adults, when one is a constant starfisher. There is a stand alone air-con unit, which just about tempered the air enough without getting the room properly cool. It was pretty noisy though, so was best used for an hour before going to sleep There is a decent sized safe in the wardrobe, which was simple to use and large enough to keep two people's valuables and electronics There is a good small laundry on the floor, which is shared with the next door apartment, and it was handy to freshen up clothes and towels There is plenty parking in Scarborough but between 9am - 6pm it is pay at meter. The closest car park was £9 for a whole day. The owner of the apartment had a secure lock-up and will put your car in there for free. We were not planning to use ours for the 4 days so that worked for us, but you lose that little bit of convenience by not being able to access it when you want. The Anchor chip shop has access and will open it for you if required. You can park for free on street or in public car parks between 6pm - 9am so if you plan an early start or late return then your parking will be free anyway. This is our second time staying at Harbourside and we will most likely use them again due to the quality & location. They are a higher price option, but not ridiculously so, and I think is fair for where it is and what you get
