Stayed overnight with my partner and friends for my birthday, room very dated need a good decor change. The bed was Comftable . The room was clean as was the bathroom, great idea having an iron and ironing board in situ.Would stay again if the place was updated.

Really nice place, clean,.good size and good location not far from the beach and main stretch. Bathrooms a bit dated but clean and functional. Will definitely return. Good value for money, didn't have breakfast because we had a lie in instead.

Not Scarborough Fair but Scarborough Outstanding
Despite the more than 200 year age of this building, this is an extremely comfortable establishment, with just the occasional creak to betray it's heritage. Situated near to the beaches, the shopping areas and the theatre, the hotel has a refined atmosphere with very efficient, friendly service all round. The breakfast is served in elegant surroundings with a very enjoyable variety of options, making for an overall extremely pleasant stay. We will return.

Scarborough Riviera
This is an elegant B&B establishment, situated right in the centre of Scarborough, giving access to beaches and buses, station and shops, as well as restaurants and the renowned SJT Theatre. Despite being an elderly building, the rooms are very comfortable and the breakfasts of a very high standard, with friendly, attentive service. Parking (as everywhere in the town) can be difficult, but loading and unloading is permitted outside the hotel and car parks are within easy reach. A most enjoyable visit which we hope to repeat.

We enjoyed our stay in small, pleasant calm hotel.good Location near lift to the beach. Will book again in future.

The hotel is a.lovely old building that is very well kept. The lift is original and works by pulling over 2 gates so you are reliant on others shutting it when they get out. Lovely but small room which we knew when booking. Lovely communal ares. Excellent breakfast. Would definitely recommend.
