Strathearn Park Lodge

What a delight it was to visit the home of Lyn and Peter for a three night return stay at their beautiful Bed & Breakfast located on the outskirts of Scone. Having stayed here numerous times over the last ten years plus, it was nice to catch up with Lyn and Peter again. They are great hosts who have run this Bed & Breakfast over many years and continue to do upgrades to their establishment for the pleasure of guests. We really like the sunsets and sunrises that occur over the surrounding hillsides and paddocks. It is a real photographic treat for guests to enjoy. The rooms are large and well appointed, including comfortable bed, dining table, lounge area, coffee and biscuits station, warm open fire and ensuite with spa bath. There is a nice private verandah for guests to enjoy the country views. Covered parking is available for guests. Continental breakfast is provided which includes cereals, fruit, yogurt, juices, toast varieties and jams together with tea or coffee. Hot breakfasts are available upon request, if required. We enjoyed our little getaway at Strathearn Park Lodge and wish Lyn and Peter all the very best for their future.

Lovely countryside location & large room.

Lovely and quiet. Easy to get to. It is a beautiful and picturesque location with a gorgeous garden accessible from your room. As long as you aren't looking for amazing water pressure, it's an idyllic, peaceful location with a comfy bed and a beautiful quiet room.

Beautifully appointed rooms. Gentle and elegant olde worlde country feel. Superbly spacious with complete privacy. I have to give 5 stars because it exceeded expectations, however, the breakfast was unremarkable - unless of course you are a fan of the typical English big breakfast, then you're on a winner! Peter, our host, was like a longtime friend and extremely helpful and kind. This place is his passion and the little touches, like lavender bubble bath and candles by the spa, say volumes about the care he takes. The heated indoor pool has skylights that let beautiful natural light flood in, and the grassy stretch between the pool room and dining room was perfect for a lazy morning. I highly recommend staying.
