Very nice, but i wouldn't say worth the price. The lobby is gorgeous! the pool area - gorgeous, although the pool is FREEZING and don't expect to get a lot of sun as the palm trees make it pretty shaded in most areas which is either good or bad. (We are from WI so wanted all the sun we could get). The room - which was just a standard room, was pretty...standard. Cuban decor was neat and lovely but all in all, it was a rather small, ordinary room. Small bathroom, low ceilings, mini bar that i didn't dare take anything from. Not worth the $650/night. For that amount, i would expect near luxury. We were only there for 1 night so we didn't take part in a lot of amenities. Great location though. I will say - we got there early and they let us check in almost 4 hours early which was very much appreciated!

Upon checking in, I asked for a quiet, well-placed room. We were put in a street-facing room in the pets building, so street noise and dogs barking early am. Upon inquiring about moving was told it was a $60 up-charge to change rooms: I had booked a patio room and nowhere does it say that patios are street facing - the resort is just off the highway exit. We had dead plants in our back patio area, the lighting from the back patio shone brightly and directly into our room. The furniture was scratched, the phone keypad was mangled. Then to the pool area - upon arrival there were no open seats or if there were, they were covered in used towels (we arrived on a Friday afternoon). There are no tables upon which to place your drink and there were plastic drink cups strewn around on the ground. So, not well maintained, check in staff not listening or accommodating. Had high hopes and at every turn dashed. Not an inexpensive resort - should have stayed at the Biltmore but was trying to branch out.

During our recent stay, we had the pleasure of interacting with Jon, who worked both at the front drop-off area and as the shuttle driver. From the moment we arrived, Jon was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about the local area. He gave us great recommendations for places to eat and must-see attractions around Scottsdale. Beyond just providing helpful tips, Jon was a delight to chat with, making our ride to and from various spots in the city enjoyable and informative. He even helped us with our luggage, going above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and comfortable. If you're staying here, I highly recommend requesting Jon. His dedication to making sure guests have a fantastic experience truly sets him apart. Thanks, Jon, for making our trip even more memorable!

Great resort! I loved the location. Close enough to Old Scottsdale where all the unique shops, restaurant and history is. Resort was high end feel, accommodating and clean. It was easy to get to all activities from here. They have a great pool area but unfortunately we were there the only cool days that were in April. I would love to go back.

Cute hotel! It's very old and outdated but has a trendy vibe. The drinks are expensive. We thought about ordering coffee in the morning with room service. We were shocked and horrified to learn there's a 25% service charge PLUS $5:00 delivery charge! The rooms are just okay, outdated but clean. We were facing the parking lot. The best rooms overlook the pool area. It's a vibe you either like or don't! For the price, you can definitely get nicer with more affordable prices. The staff are amazing

The Scott is an unexpected gem in the heart of Scottsdale. The atmosphere takes you back to 1950’s Cuba in the best way: decor, music, food & drinks. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We had one or two small issues with our room, & the front desk addressed them promptly. The hotel has a 1956 Bel Air to shuttle guests around Scottsdale. We got to be the first guests to ride in it after a lengthy maintenance and restoration of the vehicle. Rocko, our driver, was so friendly and knowledgeable. Both of us are very particular about the way that our martinis are made. Mike, at the bar, not only crafted our order to perfection, but he also remembered our names and how to make our drinks every time we came down to the Canal Club each evening. This was our first visit to Scottsdale, and the hotel made an exceptional impression. We will definitely be returning.
