Inn at the WAC

I am staying here for 10 weeks to do PT on site. The food service has improved dramatically over the past couple of months, with a new food service manager. After a slump with Covid, the WAC Cafe and Hagerty's have regained their former polish. The menu changes, and the new sous chef has developed excellent and nuanced dishes, including osso Bucco, lamb chops, and grilled ahi tuna. The staff is exceptional. I expected my stay to be sterile and isolating, but the opposite is true. I have stayed here for 40 years, and it has never been better. The rooms are exceptionally comfortable. It is my first choice from among the 5 star hotels. 2 gyms, PT on site, and a swimming pool.

Our recent stay at the WAC was good with the exception of our two breakfasts at Torchy's. The first was marred by rotten chicken sausage being served to me. They took the uneaten portion to the kitchen to verify that for some reason it was indeed rotten. The second breakfast, as we were preparing to check out of the Inn, was marred by us repeatedly requesting our bill. We asked our server when the food was served; repeated this request a second and third time to the manager but no bill. We finally headed up to our room with the plan on requesting our bill at check out. At this point not only did the manager but also the server start chasing us down at the elevator. The Inn has beautiful rooms; great front desk staff and detailed housekeeping. The food at Torchy's is just ok but not for the price. Rotten food and a lack of even average service definitely negatively impacted our stay. We reported these problems with Torchy's and the front desk indicated a new VP was on staff and was working on improving the overall experience at Torchy's. We hope to find vast improvements on our next stay. If we had rated the room I would have given the WAC 5 stars but because of Torchy's I gave it 2 stars.

Staff are really helpful and very easy going. The amenities are very nice given all the fitness and wellness options. Location is superb. The rooms are definitely old-fashioned, but in a charming way. And the price was reasonable, especially given everything I just said! Highly recommend.

This was my first trip to the United States for a conference, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the WAC. The staff were fantastic, friendly, and extremely helpful. The facilities at the WAC were also of the highest quality. I would wholeheartedly recommend this venue for anyone visiting Seattle.

In my opinion, you can't beat the WAC for quality and convenience. Great staff. Wonderful athletic facilities. Easy parking. Westlake Center, Pike St. Market, light rail, all less than a ten minute walk away. If you feel like staying in house for food, the restaurant and cafe are perfect. If you want something else -- again, just a quick walk away.

This is our second time staying at WAC because everything is excellent. The staff and amenities are great. Jordyn was very helpful in getting us our receipt from our previous stay. The rooms are clean and well appointed. Their small size reflects the excellent location. You can walk pretty much everywhere. The parking is affordable and just around the corner. It’s a great place to stay!
