Luxury Bed and Breakfast at Bossington Hall in Exmoor, Somerset

We had a fantastic stay at Bossington Hall. It’s set in a beautiful, peaceful location with stunning views. Our room was beautifully decorated, with great attention to detail. It was very spacious, well-maintained and came with a lovely large bathroom. The breakfast was excellent as well — delicious food enjoyed with a wonderful view. A charming touch were the binoculars placed around the house, allowing us to take in even more of the surrounding nature. We were even given a pair to take with us, along with a helpful tip to reach Dunkery Hill by bike, so we could try to spot Exmoor ponies. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed the use of the honesty bar with fair prices for the products. We truly wished we could have stayed longer, but unfortunately had to move on after just two nights. When we go back to England we will definitely visit Bossington Hall again.

The house is set in beautiful grounds and offers a peaceful atmosphere. Both the house and my room were well-maintained and spotlessly clean. The owners and staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Breakfast was of a high standard — I tried the Eggs California, which was beautifully presented and perfectly seasoned. You truly get what you pay for here, and in my opinion, it’s worth every penny.

One of the best B&B we have stayed in with attentive staff and delicious breakfast. Room was spacious and quiet and the historic building and grounds are very grand. We made use of the free tennis facilities, having used the squash court on our previous visit!
