Mara Serena Safari Lodge

I had a fantastic stay at Mara Serena! The food was consistently delicious with a great variety at every meal. The rooms were very comfortable, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean — a perfect retreat after a long day out in the wild. The views from the lodge are stunning, and the entire experience truly captures the magic of the Masai Mara. From game drives to the warm hospitality of the staff, everything was top-notch. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy the best of nature without compromising on comfort.

I will start with what I loved most The staff are the best I’ve ever seen😍😍 It’s like I’m home They’re extremely homley It felt like home It’s like a livelihood It was so nice♥️ I surely will visit again and again The serene is also awesome it’s a beautiful break from the norms I enjoyed it The Game drive is relaxing and I also loooooved how I’d see some small cute animals as I headed to my room♥️

The location and the view you have from the hotel is as promised from their pictures. The only establishment within the park. Top service from all the staff. They give you the feeling of belonging and being a family . Special thanks to Duncan, Denis, Grace , Daniel and if you go there make sure you book a spa session with Judy ! Looking forward to go again with my wife ! Safari experiences with their drivers was also top ! Vivian and John were more persistent than us to make sure we will see what we wanted to see

I cannot praise this resort enough the location is excellent and 2 minutes from the airstrip. Food was impressive from breakfast choice from the buffet was superb and evening meals were just a good with a vegetarian option. The staff at this hotel are what makes this place with a BIG shout for Anne in the restaurant to our very knowledgeable game driver JOSHUA.

This was a wonderful place to go to during our three night's stay surrounding our safari. The food was great, the pool beautiful, and the view gorgeous. The staff was so very polite and accommodating. The decor was very fitting given the setting in the Maasai Reserve. The one issue we could see occurred right after our arrival: from the patio off the main lobby we and other guests observed a lioness outside the window of the room at the far end of the row, which at first thought was fascinating. But our guide pointed out the next day, after getting to his vehicle in the morning and finding a lioness laying under it, that the gate-free entrance to the Lodge grounds is unmanned after dark, allowing animals to gain access . We did not see an observable way to close the front entrance to the lobby, either. I think the Lodge needs to address the dangerous risk this presents to its guests and staff.
