Namib Outpost l Ondili

Lodge si altissima qualità. Arredato con ottimo gusto. Stanze stupende, con due terrazze sul deserto, di cui una dotata anche di un secondo letto matrimoniale all’aperto, che consente di dormire sotto le stelle. Abbiamo visto le zebre a cento metri dalla stanza. Le stanze all’interno sono stupende e arredate con gusto raffinatissimo. Il ristorante offre cibo molto buono e cucinato bene (sconsigliato però il risotto). Ottima colazione. Personale gentilissimo e disponibile. Silenzio tutto intorno e le stanze consentono di soggiornare con privacy estrema. Due piccole piscine decorano la zona comune. Da andarci almeno una volta nella vita. Uno dei migliori alloggi in cui io sia stata in tutto il mondo.

Alors là, on est vraiment au top ! Accueil chaleureux dans cet endroit d'exception ou les seuls bruits qu'on entend sont ceux des oiseaux. La chambre qui tient plus d'une maisonnette est spacieuse avec terrasse à 180 degrés sur la nature, l'immersion est totale Idéalement pour terminer une journée passée à Sossusvlei dans le sable et la poussière

A bit of context first. My wife and I are in our early and late 60s respectively and generally have one ‘big holiday’ a year. While we always go ‘relatively high end’ we still look for value for money (so, for example, we still believe that ‘tips’ need to be earned but we tend to be generous when they are!). We have always booked through Scott-Dunn who always come up with a special trip that includes some amazing accommodation and are more than willing to amend the holiday to suit our specific requests. We were very lucky to be upgraded to the Outpost from its sister hotel - and what a place. Each room overlooks the desert and has a balcony looking out onto the savana. Each has inside and outside showers, indide and outside beds and LOTS of space! Meals were exceptional - with dinner being a fixed menu - while some things on the menu would not have been my choice - they were all superb! In reality - eat what's delivered, you will not be dissapointed given the chef (a lady called Sara) is clearly a culinary magician! We were looked after exceptionally well by all the staff ancd the location is to die for. I have no hesitation in giveing a 5 start review - thank you to all at Outpost - a truely memorable experience.

Just perfect. Everything from welcome to lodge, to food to service to excursion has been perfect. I am not used to write comments and less used to have nothing to say to improve. Here just perfect ! Only wanted to be able to stay a bit more, see you next time.

Beautiful place Great service, beautiful place

Ho soggiornato 2 notti in questa struttura al termine del tour della Namibia. Il Camp dista circa un ora dal parco ma vale la pena soggiornare qui perché anche l'area intorno è da escursione dato che è popolata da orix, zebre di montagna, struzzi e altri animali che di giorno e di notte vengono a bere nel piccolo laghetto artificiale di fronte. Il cibo è eccellente e c'è sempre disponibile un alternativa vegetariana. Gli alloggi sono dotati di tutti i confort e molto puliti. Il personale è gentile e preparato. Un ringraziamento a Given, Ilina e Robert che hanno reso nostro soggiorno indimenticabile.
