Vritomartis Naturist Resort

This was our first stay at Vritomartis, but it won't be our last! Everything about the resort was wonderful. At the top of the list had to be the staff... all friendly, professional and extremely good at their jobs. We especially appreciated Christina and George at the pool bar and Sommer at the restaurant. Wonderful people! Next on the list of highlights would be the food. Delicious choice at every meal! The deserts at dinner were especially good. The animation/ activity team did a nice job providing things to do.... being fun without being pushy or annoying. The facilities and rooms are in great shape. All in all, one of our favorite vacations. Can't wait to come back next year!

This was our second visit to Vritomartis, and it won't be our last. Staff were friendly and helpful, even arranging taxi's to and from Chania airport for us. Our room and the hotel itself was spotless and well maintained. The beds were especially comfortable and our room overlooked the garden and sea. The frame of the bed, especially corner feet did catch us out a few times, but this was outweighed by the comfort it offered. The breakfast and evening buffet meals were lovely. As someone with a milk allergy I'd have preferred more vegan options, but I did notice that the poolside cafe does now offer vegan ice creams were most welcome. Filaki beach was delightful, as was the beach bar and we made frequent use of the 8.50 Euro offer of two sunbeds and umbrellas most days. The hourly minibus to and from the hotel was most welcome, especially for the uphill return journey. The key thing to note is that many items have to be paid for in cash, e.g. beach bar, on site shop, sunbeds, food drink and any excursions and taxi's. Only the poolside bar and restaurant allow you to charge food and drink to your room.

An absolutely amazing resort. From the moment we arrived until our final day, we found the staff were always friendly courteous and ever helpful. The accommodation along with the house keeping staff deserves five stars, with its clean, comfortable and modern facilities. The food was incredible with amazing choices at every meal. It’s not very often that we return to a holiday destination, but this is one we will definitely come back to.

My wife and I like many others were returning guests. At this time of the year perfect weather seems guaranteed. It’s a long trip from South Africa to Crete and this time we economised where we could by using the excellent bus service from Port Souda to Chania and then Chania to Sfakia. The bus made a special stop for us at the Vritomartis entrance. Beautiful gardens, swimming pool, pétanque pitch, archery, tennis, beach etc. With helpful, friendly staff, good food, beautiful weather and outdoor facilities one finds oneself, along with fellow guests in a wonderfully relaxed and stress free environment. A real holiday!

Als je boekt word er bv gesproken over een superieur bungalow maar heeft niets te maken met wat wij verstaan onder een bungalow het zijn gewoon hotelkamers wel netjes en brandschoon! Een beetje geïsoleerde ligging maar als je van een rustige vakantie houd prima!

Wir sind von dem Hotel und der Anlage, dem Service und dem Essen begeistert, unsere Erwartungen wurden durchaus voll übertroffen. Der Strand am Meer ist wunderbar und war für uns genau das Richtige, ein guter Ort um vollkommen zu relaxen und Sonne und Wärme zu genießen.
