The hotel is in a scenic area. It was during the May 1 holiday, so the hotel upgraded the room for free. The guy at the front desk was very nice. There are many snack places downstairs of the hotel. It is a busy place with quietness, so it won't feel noisy. There are many small shops to visit on foot. I highly recommend it if you like the quaint atmosphere. The scenery nearby is beautiful, a bit like a mini version of a corner of the Summer Palace. A large river is integrated with the architecture of the nearby temples. If the weather is good during the day, it is very good to take pictures; then you must go there at night to take pictures, the atmosphere is full. The children like it very much.

I chose Yiyejiyu Xiaozhu for my business trip to Shanghai. The environment is fresh and refined, and every detail is carefully considered. Booked a stay here last minute and did not have much expectations of it. However, even before arriving at Zhijiajiao, the host, Ms 米苏 was already very friendly and provided useful advice on getting to the accommodation. She kindly offered to upgrade us to the loft with a terrace and river view. Once we stepped in, we absolutely fell in love with the room and the view from the terrace. Ms 米苏 and her mum saw that we had 3 kids with us and specially went to take kid sized bedroom slippers for them. The room was clean with lots of character. We had a movie night in bed with the projector and it was so comfortable! The hosts also showed us to the ancient town which was just steps away. We were given homemade dried soybeans by the host’s mum and my 7 year old loved it! Highly recommend this accommodation and would return if we ever go back to Zhujiajiao!

For a family gathering on the weekend, just five rooms occupied the entire building. The room is very clean and the entertainment facilities are complete. There is a large lawn at the back where children can have fun. We had a barbecue and set off fireworks in the evening, and there was a barbecue grill you could borrow. There are also bicycles here. It is very pleasant to ride a bicycle along the path. The boss is really nice 👍

I thought I was booking a place to sleep, but ended up living the life I longed for. The boss was thoughtful and considerate, turning the yard into a mini botanical garden, with all kinds of flowers blooming more brilliantly than my KPI. The mattress was even more over the top, so comfortable that I had to ”lock it up with me”. How could this be a homestay? It's clearly a ”workplace amnesia treatment center”! If they go next time, they will still choose a great hotel.
