This was my first stay at the Pullman by Shanghai Railway Station. The location truly surpassed my expectations! I'd heard it was convenient, but I never imagined *how* easy it would be. The subway entrance is literally right outside the hotel, just a 5-10 minute walk away – what a fantastic surprise! The front desk service was also excellent, very polite and efficient. Room cleanliness was good, and while the facilities show a bit of age, they are clearly incredibly well-maintained. Highly recommend this established hotel!

Mediocre. The second time I stayed, the room they assigned me had a cracked toilet. They changed my room, but the new one was tiny. From now on, I'll avoid hotels listed on Ctrip that demand a deposit. Guests pay for the room; imposing a deposit just to sell a few mini-bar drinks is an unnecessary hassle. It's outdated to still require deposits these days, especially when selling items in the room. It's a complete waste of guests' time for such minimal profit. The entire deposit collection process is simply inefficient and bothersome.

This Pullman is consistently my top choice whenever I'm in Shanghai for business. I've stayed here numerous times and always find it very comfortable; the rooms are great too. The staff's service and warm smiles are truly heartwarming. The location is also fantastic, with convenient transportation. From small shops downstairs to a wide array of trendy cafes and restaurants around Minli Road, there's everything you could need. A definite recommendation for fellow business travelers who are constantly on the go!

I stayed here for a business trip to Shanghai, having seen many online reviews praise its convenient location. I can confirm those reviews are spot on – both the high-speed train station and subway are right outside the hotel. The hotel service was absolutely excellent. From the doormen and front desk staff to the restaurant team and housekeeping, everyone was incredibly polite and proactive in greeting guests. My room was spacious and surprisingly quiet, despite facing the train station. Breakfast was a highlight, offering a generous and diverse buffet with plenty of Chinese and Western options. All the facilities were top-notch. I'd definitely choose this Pullman again for my next trip to Shanghai.

Good location near the Louis shop. The hotel gave me a higher floor as I’ve informed that it was my boyfriend’s birthday celebration. They even decorated the bed with swan towels and flower petals. Great service! Will rebook if i intend to stay in the same area.

Location was great! Right opposite the Shanghai Railway Station and there’s an entrance to the Shanghai Metro a few steps from the main entrance. Very convenient if you’d like to travel to other cities or within the city. Space was really clean too. Food delivery (*******) can be retrieved from the ******* Locker right at the doorstep of the hotel, which is very convenient (though not as convenient as having a robot to the doorstep). There’s a couple of banks/atms in the vicinity and an ICBC branch across the street. Front desk and concierge had great service and were really helpful too. Really enjoyed my stay here and will definitely return in the future.

it was a great experience to stay at 上海静安铂尔曼酒店。the services provided by the reception especially the manager 金秋 was world class. I will definitely come back again when I need to stay at Shanghai next time

Stayed here recently and overall had a pretty average experience considering a big brand like Pullman. The location is fantastic — right above the metro, which makes getting around super convenient. That said, the hotel could use a bit of refreshing. I had to change rooms after the first night due to a water heater issue. But shoutout to the relations manager, who handled the situation really well and even upgraded me to a nicer room, which definitely made the rest of my stay more pleasant. One thing that could really be improved — ******* deliveries. It’s quite a hassle to go down to collect items yourself. Would be a huge plus if they had delivery robots or some system to send items up to the rooms, like some other hotels in Shanghai already do. All in all, decent stay with great service recovery, but a revamp of the hotel is overdue.

We stayed here for 3 nights in a Standard Twin Bed room, which included breakfast. The room wasn't too big or too small — just right for two people. Each bed was about 110 cm wide, which was comfortable enough for a single sleeper. On the first day, we got a room that smelled like cigarette smoke. We thought turning on the AC would remove the smell, but it didn’t, so we couldn’t sleep all night. On the second day, we asked to change rooms and were given one that didn’t smell anymore. Breakfast had a good variety, offering Western, Chinese, and Asian options. There were several types of porridge, and the Chinese dishes tasted authentic and flavorful. We requested a late check-out until 2 PM, and it was approved, but we ended up checking out earlier at around 12:30 PM. The building is surrounded by a variety of restaurants and mobile phone repair shops. The location is quite strategic — it's close to the train station, which made it easy to travel both within the city and to other destinations.

Good stay in Jing An, so many things too do in the location. Good service and quality of the hotel products. Good recommendation from Trips.com
