Like the location, great size . taxi drivers don't seem to know the entrance to hotel (need better signage?)

Tidy and uptown common areas. Room spacious with tasteful decoration. Located in beautiful area lined by big trees with coffee shops and restaurants. Breakfast with wide selection of food. Highly recommended hotel.

Second time staying at Hualuxe. Big room, 210 has big window overlooking at a huge tree. Air con was good and silent. Room smells good. Yesterday late check in was really tense, 1 staff was dealing with phone calls and angry male guests and myself. Wish greeting of check in and check out guest was WARMER. Thank you

Very nice hotel, cozy and spacoius room, excellent swimming pool with hot tub. Nice restaurants nearby.

Facilitates are old and not well maintained. If not for the hotel being under IHG, I would not stay in this hotel.

Overall I enjoyed my stay, the rooms were big and the location great. The layout of the basement gym area is very confusing and there is a level of refinement that is missing. The service was good, very attentive and kind. I would recommend.

Location is super good, breakfast buffet is also good. Staff are friendly and able to answer all questions.

Good choice for a staycation . Breakfast is rich although the quality of the food is not amazing. The very large windows of the room with garden view are not giving you an impression of privacy . Is it a mirror from outside?

It’s hard to beat this location, connected directly to the MRT and walking distance to so many good places on Hengshan Rd. The hotel is also beautiful, with many works of art. I would stay again if the price was reasonable. Breakfast was mediocre, so I wouldn’t suggest paying for it. And service was not as good as some other hotels I’ve stayed in Shanghai, not the 5 star standard.

Only plus point is the location and a stone throw away from metro.

I was really disappointed by my stay this time. I chose this hotel as I was traveling with a friend and I liked the size of the rooms the last time I stayed there. This time around, I stayed for a total of 8 nights. Usually, hotels will try to arrange for slightly better rooms for guests staying for longer, but in this case, my room was directly over the loading dock and I could hear the heavy trucks loading and unloading every morning and late afternoon/evening. Furthermore, it's immediately over the road, so most hours of the day, can hear all the hustle and bustle from outside. To add on to all this, the bed wasn't really clean and I had bites on my back after my stay, so not planning to stay there again.
