Perfect location - just a short walk to the metro and the main attractions of Shanghai. Staying here truly lets you experience the authentic vibe of the city. The interior of the hotel and the rooms is beautiful, featuring modern design and new amenities. A couple of drawbacks: there is only one elevator for a 7-story building, which results in long waiting times. Also, despite the recent renovation, there are no international power sockets, although Type-C USB ports are available.

The room was spacious and very clean. The air conditioning worked well and could be adjusted for both heating and cooling. The location is excellent—just a short walk to People’s Square, with plenty of restaurants nearby. Very convenient for getting around the city. Note: Rooms of the same type may vary slightly in size depending on the layout.

Staying at Hanting was the best experience ever. I arrived earlier than the stated check-in time of 4:00 PM, but I was still warmly welcomed by the front desk staff. Noticing how hot the day was, Xiao Du immediately offered me a bottle of water - such a thoughtful and caring gesture! Although the room I originally booked was overbooked, the staff quickly arranged an alternative room for me. They invited me to take a look first and assured me that if I wasn’t satisfied, they would change it without hesitation. I had also ordered a few parcels from Taobao, and the staff kindly arranged for them to be delivered straight to my room via the robot — very convenient and efficient! On the day I visited Disneyland, I came back completely exhausted after standing in long queues all day. I was too tired to go out for food, so I asked Xiao Du, the friendly and approachable staff member at the front desk, if she could help me place an order on *******. She agreed immediately, without hesitation, going above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. This was in sharp contrast to a hotel I previously stayed at in Hangzhou. Due to a flight delay, I arrived late and missed dinner. When I asked the receptionist for help ordering food, she simply declined, saying it wasn’t part of their service. Hanting is also conveniently located near many affordable local eateries — including the famous 蟹粉汤包from 佳家， Butterfly Pastry (蝴蝶酥) from 国际饭店 just nearby. On my departure day, my flight was at night, so I stored my luggage at the hotel after checking out. I was pleasantly surprised to find a clean and convenient washroom in the lobby, where I could freshen up before heading to the airport. It made a big difference to travel feeling clean and refreshed. And once again, Xiao Du was there, making sure I was well taken care of right up until I left for the airport. Her kindness and attentive service truly made my trip extra special. The staff at Hanting are always ready to help with a smile. The room was clean with no strange odors, the bed linens and pillowcases were fresh, and bottled water was replenished daily. The air conditioner was also user-friendly, with adjustable wind settings for added comfort.

I had a wonderful stay at hotel! The service was truly exceptional — the staff were not only professional but also genuinely kind and attentive. You can really feel their service-minded attitude in everything they do. From check-in to check-out, every moment was smooth and pleasant. Thank you for making my stay so comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back again!

Perfect location as it's walking distance to the subway and surrounded by many local restaurants. Room is nice, comfy bed and clean. Only one comment as there was an ongoing construction during my stay- there was small noise and dust on the walk way. However it does not not impact my overall stay so I still love this place. Remark: the cleaners are nice and put a lot of hard work to clean the room everyday! Thank you~ Recommend for travellers.

Amazing stay at this hotel in ShangHai. Strategic location. There’s a convenient store right in front of the hotel. Value for money.

A walking distance of 10mins from People’s Square metro. A lot of food selections along the road to the hotel. Convenient shop is just opposite the hotel. Price wise is considered decent as it is near to People’s Square metro. Hotel is clean and nice, importantly without smoking smell. Receptionist is very helpful when I am facing some difficulties in ordering food delivery. A very good hotel in term of price, location and cleanliness. Recommended
