Shanghai Jiading District 5-star Hotels

I personally really like this hotel and feel it is a good choice if you are looking for a short gettaway from the hectic life of the city! Staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a decent swimming pool and breakfast, on the top floor with fantastic views, has a very good selection of both Chinese and Western food. Would highly recommend this hotel.It is also an ideal place to stay if you plan to visit the Shanghai Automobile Museum (superb museum for car enthusiasts!).

Great view for a short time staycation, some of the decoration near the room door was unstable, might need to get fixed. The Chinese restaurant on the 43 floor worth a try, we ordered Beijing duck, a salad, fried rice with black truffle, and a dessert which looks like lychee, the dinner cost more than the room rate, but it’s worth a try.

As soon as I arrived at the hotel, I was attracted by its geographical location. The transportation is very convenient. It is very convenient to go to public transportation stations or take taxis around, which is really a plus for people who travel. There are also many convenience stores, restaurants, etc. around, which are full of life and not noisy. Entering the hotel lobby, the first feeling is that it is spacious and bright. The front desk staff is very efficient. They are warm and friendly when checking in. They are patient and meticulous when answering my questions. They also kindly tell me some special services and precautions of the hotel. Walking into the room, cleanliness and tidiness are the most intuitive feelings. The bed is soft and comfortable, and the touch of the quilt and pillow is as reassuring as returning home. The layout of the room is reasonable, the furniture is neatly arranged, and the storage space is sufficient, which is very practical for travelers like me who have more things. The facilities in the room are also complete, the air conditioning cooling and heating effects are very good, the TV programs are rich, and the network speed is super fast. Whether watching dramas or handling some urgent work, there is no pressure. The bathroom is also a highlight. Although the space is not particularly large, the layout is compact and reasonable, the shower head has strong water output and stable water temperature, the toiletries are of good quality, and the towels and bath towels are clean and soft. The service of the hotel really reflects the heart everywhere. The room service was very responsive. Once I needed extra towels and they were delivered not long after I called. The hotel cleaned the room on time every day, cleaned it very cleanly, and kept the items in order. The hotel's breakfast was also satisfactory. There were a variety of varieties, including traditional Chinese food such as porridge, buns, and fried dough sticks, as well as Western bread, fried eggs, ham, etc. The fruits were fresh, and there were many choices of drinks, both hot and cold drinks. The environment of the whole hotel was very quiet, which allowed me to get a good rest. I stayed here for a few days and every day was comfortable and cozy. I will definitely choose this hotel again in the future and recommend it to my friends. This is a very cost-effective hotel that is worth staying in.

The room is very clean and worthy of the voco brand. The guest service manager contacted me before check-in. My guest service manager is Miss Dina. After contacting me, she asked me about my room requirements and patiently introduced the rules for using the executive lounge. She also tried her best to meet my needs. It really makes me feel at home. I will choose this hotel again next time I come on a business trip. The breakfast and gym are very good!

This stay was a great experience. The room was spacious and bright, with complete facilities. Although the hotel is quite old, the maintenance of the facilities is still good. The service staff were warm and attentive, and the check-in process was fast and efficient. Jasper and Derek is good. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, catering to different tastes. The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient for getting around. All in all, it's worth recommending.

The room is relatively large, and the facilities are a bit old, but it is still quiet. The dry and wet separation of the bathroom is very good, but there is always a peculiar smell similar to the backflow of the pipe on the toilet side, but fortunately it does not affect the room. It may be due to the geographical location. It is generally deserted and there are few waiters. However, it is surrounded by water, which has its unique feeling and a sense of leisure. The interior of the hotel is quite beautiful. The breakfast is all vegetarian, and the main focus is on the healthy diet label, which is acceptable. In terms of service, there is not much feeling, just muddling through. Maybe the staff training is still on the way, and there is some unfamiliarity and lack of service smile experience. The tall and thin man is quite enthusiastic. There is a comprehensive shopping mall 500 meters away on foot, and it is about 3 kilometers away from the Automobile Culture Park. Overall ok.

The Joya Hotel in Jiading is a lovely hotel for those who want to visit nearby attractions. The room was spacious and comfortable. The shower and large bathroom was heavenly. Joya is located near the entrance to Jiading's ancient town and areas with shops and restaurants. The breakfast could have been a bit better. I missed having a custom egg station, but the noodles were good. Overall, it was a great stay for one night!

This is my first time in Shanghai and also my first time staying at a hotel under the Marriott brand. I experienced the feeling of being at home here. The room has a great view and is clean and tidy. The cleaning ladies are also very enthusiastic and quickly deliver whatever they need. What impressed me the most was the staff on the sixth floor. Everyone was very enthusiastic and led me to transfer to the elevator. When I returned to my room, they helped me press the elevator in advance, saving me waiting time. I regret not staying longer this time. If needed next time, I would still prefer hotels under the Marriott brand!

Location, location, location. Close to everything, like… EVERYTHING. I don’t think you can get a better location than this one in Shanghai. About hotel: this feels premium, it’s old, you can feel the history in this place, it’s actually an iconic place in Shanghai. Room: when I entered in the room my first thought was “Nixon was here”, you’re just feeling like in a premium hotel from ‘70s. But there is also a big LCD, and the toilet is next gen, with leds and everything, opens itself when close by and so on. Breakfast: has pretty much everything, asian and continental. Shanghai was my last place in China and after wandering in various places I was longing after a good continental breakfast; funny thing is that I started to prefer also Asian food in the morning lol; fish dumplings are really good here tbh.
