Very friendly and helpful staff. They respond quickly via Wechat even at night. They upgraded our room to one with balcony which can view the city gate at night.
Location is close to Pingjiang street and humble administration garden.
Grateful for the free laundry services they provided. Saved me a lot of time. They also help deliver ******* to room.
Only downside is mosquito which seems to be a Suzhou problem in general during summer.

Had to change my room twice, first due to a strong cigarette smell emanating from the showers (cigarette buds stubbed in the drain) and another due to a strong urine smell. The staff were courteous throughout the stay and provided timely assistance. I was given an upgraded room on my second room change, which had no smells.
The staff were very helpful and helped my group of friends with the parcels and provided updates on any food deliveries that reached the hotel. I would like to commend the two staff that have helped make my stay more pleasant. 以墨 言初 worked tirelessly to ensure that our rooms are clean and our parcels delivered.

Location is impeccable, you can walk to the bund in 15 min. or north bund in about 35 min. I had jet lag so one morning I got up early and walked to north bund area. The scenery is beautiful and no lines! Metro line 2 and 10 are short walking distance, with the far reaching metro system, you could literally go everywhere. Hotel room is clean and adequate, front desk personnel are professional and friendly. Will definitely stay here when next time in Shanghai.
Had such a pleasant stay at this hotel! The staff was super accommodating and helpful although there was a bit of a language barrier they put effort in and assisted us with our needs. The hotel was clean and very spacious, very convenient and easy to get to places. The only cons was the aircon which was set at a certain temp and could not be changed. But overall we had an excellent stay here.

Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with checking in when there was some technical errors. Staff also allowed us to check out late to accommodate our 6pm flight which was super helpful.
Room was clean and nice with provided amenities. Location was great and overall a really nice stay near most popular hot spots. I would book it again!

The place and location is good. We were unlucky to meet early summer in March and the hotel does not provide air conditioning. The staff told us to open the window and yes, the next room also open the window and smoke cigarette that caused the smell came into our room. With the sign “non-smoking”and condition set on reservation, doesn’t seem to strict with this rule. We call the receptionist after midnight asking to change room.
It was so hot that we cannot sleep the staff promised to give us a fan next day -they left us nothing next day that we had to ask them to find one again!!!
I would have changed hotel if knowing that they didn’t take this situation seriously. With the price we paid this is not appropriate.
Staff is actually good with helping along with other issues but with what I experience here -there will not be my next time here.
Photo is the fan they finally found without base.
We stayed at this hotel for one night as we wanted somewhere close to Tianzifang, and it served its purpose well. The hotel was nice and clean, and while the room was quite small, it was fine for a short stay. The best part was the location—being within walking distance to Tianzifang was exactly what we needed. We’d consider staying here again, though next time we might look for somewhere with a slightly bigger room.

An amazing hotel. Clean, modern and at a convenient location. It’s even better than the Marriott I stayed at Shanghai. I love their toothbrush, pillow and tea biscuits too. I highly recommend this to any overseas traveller wanting to experience a local Chinese chain hotel in China. I’ll definitely stay again in an Atour chain hotel if I visit China again!

The hotel and its rooms are classy, modern and hi-tech. Check-in was smooth and we got an upgrade to a room with windows. Toothbrush set and kids bedroom slippers were provided at check-in.
We were lucky to have the view of Oriental Pearl Tower from our room. Love the thick and fluffy toilet floor mat.
Our food deliveries were sent to the room by a robot waiter. The room phone will ring, a recorded message will inform you that the robot is waiting outside your room. Tap on the blue icon and wait for the compartment to open. After collecting your items, tap the blue icon to close and wave bye to the robot.
The hotel is located 1 street away from Nanjing Pedestrian Street and train station. There is a Starbucks at level 1 and a convenience store opposite.
Would stay here again 😊

GGuest Usergreat stay at hotel, great location near the bund & metro & eateries, nice room deco, comfy bed & pillows. Manner coffee is just next door. Highly recommended to stay in shanghai.
GGuest UserLike the location, prompting me to take more train than cabby, location is just next to station 1 stop away to people park (foodie location). Right below newly Starbucks service, breakfast is decent light meal for myself with fresh bananas. 7-eleven is just below, although station does look run down. Smart rm is full of apps suitable for local tourist that had subscriptions. Rm are of decent size with a total of 8 storeys, services are overall nice and friendly. Is definitely a place that will visit again if I am back to Shanghai.
It can be pretty dark at night, but is quite safe, although I still won’t recommend walking from people park back to hotel at night.
Luckin coffee coming up soon. Lobby accept deliveries on guest behalf.
Oh ya there’s no securities box or ironing board in the rm. Gym is decent. There is a standing steam ironing there beside the washing machine.

BBeeValIt was a great stay here. The room was clean and cosy, staff were all very helpful and friendly. Location is good- close to 2 lines. There is a mall with lots of food options and a supermarket next to World Expo Museum station, which we visited a few times.
There is a washing machine in the room which we loved. Overall a good stay, we will love to be back!

RRachael TehWe had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at SSAW Boutique Hotel Shanghai Bund. The room was cozy and well-equipped, and we really appreciated the free coffee available at the lobby — a nice touch that made us feel welcome.
One of the highlights was the complimentary breakfast for one day, which was a pleasant surprise! The buffet spread was fantastic, with a great variety of both local and international options.
The location is very convenient, just a short walk to Yu Yuan Bazaar and the Yu Yuan Garden metro station, making it easy to explore Shanghai’s historic areas and get around the city.
Overall, a lovely stay with thoughtful touches — would definitely recommend!
MMuneebSA fine establishment! All amenities are available. Room service is top-notch, they even folded my clothes when we were outside. Reception staff is super helpful.
10/10 experience. Location is good.

PPedroExcellent location. The room was very comfortable. The staff is really nice and efficient. The hotel needs some renewal; there are no USB connections, and the window could not close well, so the wind just entered the room whistling. Breakfast was a bit disappointing for what I expected and paid—not enough fruits, only one type of cheese. Anyway, I would be happy to stay there again.
