I booked this hotel because of its location, as it was close to the venue where I was attending some events. I was driving my car and got to park in front of the hotel, which was very convenient but a little pricey. I prefer it when parking is free or included in the booking. The room temperature was 25 to 30 degrees, which is too high for me. I expressed my concern to the consignor at the reception, and he told me that he would have housekeeping adjust it. But this did little to help; it was still the same temperature when I returned before midnight. I regret this issue because I frequently stay in Shanghai, and due to the location, this hotel would be perfect, but I don't get a decent sleep when the room temperature is so high. I did have a nostalgic moment when I noticed the telefax machine in the room 😄. I didn't know someone still used this technology. And I must praise the view, it was a fantastic city view.

The location and service at this hotel are 10/10. At all times when I need to go to Shanghai I prefer to choose to stay at this hotel. The cleanliness is good, the furniture is good and the service is very good. In my last days at the hotel I received incredible support, especially from Rreky Yin (Permanent Restaurant Staff) and Shirlei Ma (also from the Restaurant). I was feeling very good on my last stay at the hotel. I've been there more than four times. One point to continuous improvement: The smell in my bedroom was not very well, but it's not a problem or big issue, but if possible improve, i think change this will be a amazing improvement.

The hotel is well designed, beautiful interiors and reasonable room size. Room comes with quality towels and toiletries, mattress and pillows are super comfortable too. There’s free self-laundry service located at ground floor, right next to the gym. Breakfast options are pretty complete, nothing fancy but quite delicious especially the noodle bar, specially kudos to 菖蒲 for her excellence service and great hospitality, will definitely come back again!

Very good check-in experience, the attitude of the service staff is very good. I need to check in early when I bring my mother to a nearby hospital to see a doctor. I can't wait for the vacancy. A female manager is very friendly and helps to arrange the room. My parents are very happy and let me write a good review! The western architectural style, the interior decoration is also very characteristic, the room is also a bit nostalgic, the equipment is relatively old-fashioned, but it can be used, clean and hygienic. Very cost-effective hotel~

Great location. Can wash/dry clothes for free. Free coffee machine. Lots of food nearby. Convenient location. Can safe keep luggage or deliver taobao items to hotel lobby. High tech self closing curtain, jbl speaker, smart tv, touch screen lights control all…. However…. They did not do up their windows properly. Windows can’t be locked and do not have proper gasket to seal up. Hence, you can hear noise coming in quite clearly, as well as the mala smell from shops below. Whole corridor and room will smell like mala 😂 their “air freshener” in the room is all dried up, not refilled, non existence and it’s just used for display. Spacious room with comfy bed/pillow and free flow mala smell 😅
