Owner very friendly which is really useful!! Helped us with luggages and with recommending places. Couldnt find much recommendations on food online so it helped! Rooms also clean and neat. Oxygen machine really useful as air is thin here especially at night. Will def come again

We love the big clean spacious room with nice view. The room is so big that we can fully open 2 big luggages and still have plenty of space. Located in the heart of the old city, with many shops and restaurants around. The bed is very comfortable, and they provided oxygen machine and humidifier, which are great for high-altitude stay. There is a sofa in the room, too. The operator is very friendly and helpful. He even woke up early to send us to the main road as it will be challenging to lug our luggages along the uneven ancient road. Will stay at this hotel again if we come back to Shangri-La. Highly recommend!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Clean and look exactly like the photos. You will have to give the hotel a call for them to pickup your luggage (not recommended to drag your luggages through the rocky floor). Staff services were great and responsive.
The hotel is tucked away in the old town area but is still really close to the main area of the old town which is really convenient.

The hotel is situated in the middle of the ancient city but the location of the hotel is a bit high up the hill. Thank God they could pick you up at the North Gate using their buggy. But when checking out, they could only bring your luggage to the gate, it would be dangerous if they carry you down the hill using their buggy....overall I am satisfied with their service..

Very beautiful room with great view of the golden bell. Also really loved the sky light bringing natural lighting into the room from above. The hotel provides transport service to and from the 北门 of the ancient city so you don’t need to worry about having to lug your luggage up the slope. The oxygen machine provided in the room was also a life saver to combat high altitude sickness after a day of sightseeing. Its convenient location within the ancient city also ensured that there was food and drinks easily accessible during our stay. Would highly recommend this hotel!

The place is so nice & clam. Not far from the north gate of old town. The hosts are helpful & have service mind. I can recommend this hotel is superb !!!!
