Stayed for 3 nights in the twin bed room. Love it here because it is more on the outer side of the Dukezhong old town, making it peaceful and quiet, but still accessible to the old town by foot. Not to mention, there is a Tea Horse Museum in the hotel itself! It’s a spacious place and doesn’t make you feel crammed. You will enjoy taking photos of its exterior as well. People even take photos of the front of the hotel, and the building opposite of the hotel is a hotspot for people taking photos in ******* costumes
Pros:
1. Room is spacious and clean. Our room is on the first floor, no lift so you have to carry your luggages up( or the hotel staff can also help)
2. Surrounding is quiet and clean. There is actually a short cut to the big prayer wheel area, without having to go though the old city itself!
3. Very helpful staff. We told them we have to go to the train station early morning after checking out from our stay. The staff offered to help call taxi but upon realising that it is difficult to get one as it was very early in the morning, he offered to drive us to the train station. This is 5-star hospitality!
4. Water pressure and heater in the shower is good, easy to use
Cons:
1. No place to hand clothes in the shower, so you have to improvise
