"The room was quite spacious. I was given a room on the 3rd floor of Building 2. There was construction nearby, but the soundproofing in the room was excellent, so it didn't really bother me. It's also very close to the back entrance, which made coming and going super convenient. Public transportation was easily accessible too. The hotel's landscaping and garden design are lovely, making it a great spot for photos. The restaurant is right next door, which was very convenient for breakfast, and you can also have other meals there. The prices were decent and quite reasonable. Ordering takeout here was a bit inconvenient. Firstly, there weren't many good restaurants available for delivery. Secondly, delivery drivers could only drop off at the lobby entrance; there were no robots or staff to bring it to the room, so I had to go pick it up myself. Transportation was pretty good. It was easy to call a taxi. Bus stops were about a 400-600 meter walk from the hotel, and there were many bus routes that could take me to almost all the attractions. Just be aware that some bus routes have infrequent service, so you might have to wait a long time for certain buses. For shorter distances, renting an electric scooter would be very convenient."

"Our stay was absolutely perfect! Every corner of the hotel is picturesque, offering beautiful photo opportunities that easily rival popular scenic spots, but with a unique江南 (Jiangnan) style. A special shout-out to Mr. Chen Fu, our shuttle driver. We arrived quite late, around 10 PM, amidst a heavy downpour, and the shuttle service was almost ending. He thoughtfully covered our sleeping child with a towel to prevent them from getting wet. After dropping us off, he walked us to our room, holding an umbrella and even helped with our luggage. Such a small act of kindness truly warmed our hearts. Thumbs up to him! At checkout, Ms. Xiao Xie from the concierge was incredibly attentive, helping us with our luggage to the car and proactively assisting with the checkout process. Big praises for her! Assistant Lobby Manager Mr. Xiao Lü also had a wonderful attitude. We're definitely looking forward to coming back and trying out different room types! Shaoxing is truly beautiful!"

"True to its name, Wen Duyuan Hotel truly radiates warmth and hospitality. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, and almost all of my requests were handled perfectly. The hotel facilities showed meticulous attention to detail and were spotlessly clean, even small items like charging cables were well-maintained. The clear signage everywhere was a thoughtful touch, and each floor even had a water dispenser and ice machine. Plus, there's a small meeting room, making it an absolute top choice for business travelers. The breakfast spread was fantastic, with a lavish selection of seafood that really showed their dedication. Next time I'm in Shaoxing, I'll definitely choose Wen Duyuan again!"

"Facilities: The old building we stayed in had facilities that were just about acceptable, within expectations. However, the soundproofing was a bit poor, and I noticed a patch on the bedsheet (P4). While it shows a commendable virtue of thrift, it still felt a bit off-putting and didn't exceed expectations. Hygiene: Although the equipment is old, it's still clean and tidy. Environment: Full marks! The hotel's overall construction and public areas are impeccable, beautifully showcasing the aesthetics of Jiangnan gardens. It's fantastic whether it's raining or sunny. Overall, it's definitely worth experiencing a stay here. Service: The service was very good. The cleaning staff were enthusiastic when they saw us, and they were proactive in asking about forgotten items in the room."

"Terrible experience! The room was incredibly small and cold! The sofa was also tiny, and the storage box underneath dug into my legs. I regretted it the moment I walked in! Paying 457 for such a frustrating stay! It wasn't relaxing at all to come back to the hotel. I stayed in the 'Scenic View Deluxe,' which was actually room 8111 right by the entrance – a truly bad experience! Plus, the automatic toilet kept flushing by itself at night, which scared me to death, and I'm not even a light sleeper!"

"This hotel is a two-minute walk from the subway station, and just four stops from Lu Xun's former residence, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The facilities are comprehensive, the room is spacious, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. They provide complimentary fruit upon arrival, and plenty of bottled water. There are hooks under the air conditioner for drying clothes, a massage chair, some small fitness equipment, a large full-length mirror, and even a vanity table with a double-sided makeup mirror – truly a great touch for women. Charging cables are provided for free, and there are disposable paper cups. The view outside the window is beautiful. Each floor has a water dispenser and a weighing scale, and the breakfast is plentiful. I had a very comfortable stay, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again when I revisit Shaoxing."
