This is the first time using rixos as normally used TUI blues , there staff were brilliant , so friendly all over the resort could not fault the staff . Didn’t think the rooms were quiet 5 star level , we had two rooms , think the bathrooms had better days need updating we had deluxe rooms , daughters had to have there toilet fixed twice and there air conditioning when reported they came to fix it quick . Food - the à la cart restarts were lovely - we went to Italian , Brazilian, Turkish, Indian an Asian, and went to seafood also but didn’t think that was as good as the other restaurants. Buffet was abit the sameness everyday needed more main meals . Waffles were lovely . We went to salt for lunch which was lovely great for lunch . Drinks were good had lots of cocktails and lattes . We mainly sunbathe around oasis pool and the barmen on skates very brilliant on brining us drinks and crisps , ice lolly’s . Sickness - my husband got very ill we think it was food poisoning, daughter had a cooked chicken once in buffet lucky didn’t eat it . Had to go to the clinic to see the doctor put him on a drip twice and gave him antibiotics and anti sickness tablets . Was sick for 3 days and didn’t really get his appetite back till we got home . This not our first time to Egypt so we know to be careful with water. Salads , fruits , seafood etc Think we will stay with TUI blues in future as we do prefer them . TUI was good again couldn’t fault them either . Apart husband getting ill , we had a good family holiday .
