KSpace @ the Point

I stayed at the apartment with my husband and baby as he was in Sheffield with work. All I can say is the apartments are spot on - the location is perfect and walking distance to the shops and the cleanliness and quality is superb. A big shout out to Kate who dealt with our booking and couldn’t do enough for us - as it was hot she got an air con unit put in our studio as well as a high chair and cot. Customer service is 5*. I won’t stay anywhere else next time we are in Sheffield. Secure, clean, excellent location and top customer service - what more could you want!

Have stayed here before but much shorter trips, this trip was July 15-24. 2 people, my mother and myself. I was surprised and very disappointed this time by the bad smell in the hallway and an even worse smell in Unit 106, like old cooking smells and perspiration. We stayed 8 nights, I didn't realize you only receive fresh towels after staying 7, but there it was clearly on a card of info left on the table. There is a washer/dryer in the unit so I am guessing you are expected to wash your own towels and sleep on the same sheets until day 7. There was 1 bag for the kitchen trash bin and 1 bag for bathroom bin, clearly not enough. Unusually warm weather in Sheffield which made it very hot in the room. The heat made the smell worse, so I requested a fan. I was told the people above us were ok, not sure if that was to deter me from wanting the fan but I am sure they were much younger and thinner than I am, and that is what I said in my message. 2 women ended up bringing a portable air conditioner while I was out and my elderly mother was there. When I returned the VENT HOSE WAS ON THE FLOOR, the unit was on and the room was a sauna. My mother did not know how to operate it, did not know the vent is to go out the window and neither did these 2 ladies. My mother said she was afraid to touch it so she left it how they did. While outside waiting for an Uber I happened to glance up at the building and I saw vent hoses in more than one window. Like, what? As I said earlier, my stays here have been shorter, and don't get me wrong, the units were always very clean, plus the building is in a great location, very close to the City Centre, restaurants and even a grocery store which is why I come back. There was construction going on but I don't know if that contributed to the smells. For what I was charged per night, I expected a better experience.

Excellent apartment , great location I'd just like to say a massive thanks to drew at kspace for helping us out with our day of check out , my partner was taken ill and i emailed kspace and mentionedabout our situation and got a response back straight away , thanks drew for all your help today I carnt thank you enough , all the best to kspace merry Christmas and we will be back in New year
