"This is my second time to stay at EasyHotel. My check in time was after midnight so I got in touch with hotel to let them know. They replied to me straight away and I had no problem to have a smooth check in. The room has a basic amenity but the receptionist told me that they could anything if I needed to. The receptionists were very friendly both at checking in and checking out. The location was bang on centre of city centre and very convenient. I just needed a place to sleep as my stay in Sheffield was minimum and I am 100% satisfied with EasyHotel.
Like I said earlier, this is my second time. If I wasn’t happy with my first experience, I wouldn’t have booked this time."
"The hotel was very basic, it has air condition in rooms which was a plus point, however every night the management will switch the air condition to heater mode, with the reason given was other tenants felt cold. There was completely no ventilation in our rooms, we were woken up by the heat at night and was force to get a fan from the counter."
"It was a fairly cool place, spacious room for the price, calm and quiet ..
nice reception
I only felt there could be more done about more lighting and a newer fan could have been cooler, otherwise perfect place"
"DoubleTree by Hilton Sheffield City was exactly what I needed during my business trip. Comfortable, reliable, and quietly kind. From the moment I arrived, the check-in was smooth and welcoming, and that first warm cookie felt like a small but genuine gesture of care after a long journey.
The location is convenient, close to the city centre yet peaceful enough to rest. It made moving between meetings and personal time easy, something I truly appreciated.
The room was modern, clean, and quiet. The bed was comfortable, the lighting soft, and everything worked perfectly. It was not about luxury, but about thoughtful comfort that helps you recharge.
Breakfast offered a good variety and the restaurant had a calm atmosphere that made mornings feel easy. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help without being intrusive.
What stood out the most was the consistency. Every part of the stay felt dependable and well cared for. That sense of steadiness made it easy to relax and focus on the purpose of the trip.
Thank you DoubleTree by Hilton Sheffield City for creating a space that feels balanced, peaceful, and genuinely comfortable."
"This is a beautiful hotel in a great location. We were very impressed with the service provided by the friendly & professional staff.
The hotel building is beautiful, stylish and well maintained.
Breakfast was lovely but be warned the breakfast room is quite snug when there is a busy period.
We would definitely recommend a stay here."
"Robin, on the reception desk, was very professional and friendly and gave me a very warm welcome and a great first impression.
The hotel, being directly attached to the Winter Garden, has a great central location and is less than ten minutes by foot to the train station (which is all wheelchair and suitcase accessible).
All the breakfast staff were also attentive and helpful even early in the morning."
"We loved our stay at Radisson Blu. The only downside was the Air Con not working properly, they are really hot rooms and the windows dont open.
However, the rooms are so quiet with soundproof rooms, really comfortable and spacious.
It was an ideal location near Lyceum Theatre and a lobely square opposite for eating and drinking. We sat at the roof top bar for drinks and staff were polite and helpful. I would love to revisit but the air con was abit of a downside for me."
"A very warm greeting on reception by a team of friendly staff. Room was spacious, clean and quiet. Breakfast was superb. A lovely stay and I would happily stay again."
"The hotel has a nice feel about it. The single room I had was fine for one night. The bathroom was nice, it was almost as big as the room !! The shower was excellent. I did not sleep well, the mattress was rather uncomfortable. I did report it and was told they were in the process of upgrading mattresses. The staff were all very happy, welcoming and friendly."
"I booked this for my family. It happened to be graduation season, so the rates were quite high. The room was a bit small but surprisingly a little more spacious than I'd imagined. Its convenient location, with a supermarket and restaurants directly opposite, and proximity to the train station, were definite pluses."

Great
GGuest UserVery comfortable stay, spotlessly clean and a very comfortable bed. Bath robes are a nice touch. Tea, coffee, fresh milk and biscuits which you can top up from stations on each corridor. Breakfast was very good.
OOshunniyiMy check was lovely. Easy process. Was given all the necessary information to make my stay worthwhile such as WiFi and lift process. The Italian gentleman at the reception was awesome, he even gave me ideas of where to go. I ended up taking his advice and enjoyed my night out.
In morning it was a new unfriendly cold face. I asked if she had any tissues she told me no and I had to go to the toilet for that. I collected my complimentary breakfast which I totally appreciated by the hotel . As I sat to eat my croissants in the other room, I heard another gentleman ask if he could take some extra croissants and Kas responded that he could and she even offered him blue roll. I was astonished. She shared the same excitement with another lady, complimenting her dress etc whereas I didn't not even get a warm greeting from her.
This was very disappointing. I will not be staying here again nor will I be recommending it to other friends or family members. The discrimination was obvious and would not want to expose my loved ones to Kas's behaviour.
I asked her name as I intended to make a complaint. Very disappointing for my first trip to Sheffield.
HHahadeyangganjuFor a hotel in the UK, the price was very affordable. The room size was decent, and the bed was generally comfortable. Its location is quite good, with a bus stop nearby making it easy to get to Darcy Manor (just check Google Maps). The room came with a bathtub, although the water pressure was a bit weak. Both the air conditioning and extractor fan operated on timers, which I presume is an energy-saving measure. It felt like the room was half of a two-bedroom suite, given the locked connecting door in the middle, which unfortunately led to poor soundproofing. Luckily, the guests next door only chatted briefly after returning late at night before going to sleep, so the noise wasn't too disruptive.

GGuest UserWhen arrived told that we didn’t book even though I had a confirmation email took the receptionist 40 minutes to find a room. Didn’t end up getting the room we booked. The location is good, not far from the train station at all, not too far from restaurant etc.

MMengskyI wouldn't consider this a good stay, as I encountered several issues. First, the check-in process was a hassle since this hotel doesn't have a front desk. I spent hours calling the hotel, facing either ”Line busy” or no response after a long wait. If it wasn’t for Trip.com's customer service finally connecting with the hotel, I wouldn’t have known what to do. Second, the wooden door in my room was difficult to close; it required a hard push and made a loud ”bang.” The glass sliding door of the shower room was also problematic, it fell out on my first pull, and I'm certainly not strong enough to break a door with just one pull. Lastly, and most frustratingly, was the toilet paper situation. It was my first time encountering a toilet without a single roll of paper. I can't imagine what I would be if I hadn't brought my own in my bag that day. On a positive note, the room was well-equipped with a fridge, oven, heater, toaster, and even an iron, which suggests the hotel might have been quite good when the things are all good a few years ago, but not now.

OOpal HuiI am Benny Mok(the register name is WAI-FU MOK), spent three days there at ROOM 211 from 31/7/2022 to 2/8/2022 in summer & I found that all the facilities in the hotel were superb & I was highly satisfied. The only shortcoming was there was a long weird sound when flushing at the bathroom. There might be some problems in the toilet bowl hose.
Otherwise than that, I highly recommend this hotel cuz all the staff members at the hotel ARE SUPER FRIENDLY, welcoming, cheerful, caring including the housekeeping ladies !
Last but not least, the receptionist ~KARRA RIPPON. karra was the most patient, helpful, amicable , devoted, loving, thoughtful & caring staff member over there & there is no doubt about that! Would you mind sharing this inspiring message with this excellent receptionist and tell her that the inspiring message was from a HONG KONG IMMIGRANT FAMILY ? Many thanks & I owe you one!

Nnott1mReally nice hotel for the price, the area is a bit dodgy but the staff was very helpful, near the city centre and train station so it's pretty convenient and there's a tram stop just 2 mins away. Overall pretty good

XXinyeIt was an impressive and pleasant stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a family room, which was perfect for our trip, very spacious and with great view. The bed mattress is one of the best in all my experience. I had great sleep during the stay. The cleanliness of the room was ok. The location is very convenient if you are driving - 20 mins drive to the walking trails and 10 mons drive to centre of Sheffiled. David from the restaurant provided highly professional and helpful service for our breakfast. All in all, we would consider staying at this hotel again if we visit this area again.
