The hotel is located in a good location, about 5 minutes walk from Hubei metro station. There are many restaurants around. Tried the recommended hot pot at the restaurant diagonally across the road. The food great and the design of the restaurant very special. See photos. The reception and the beverage counter is at ground floor. 2 Complimentary coupons, 2nd one at 50% discount are provided for drinks. The latte and cappuccino excellent. The room came with buffet breakfast which is excellent with many choices. The staff very helpful and friendly.

Originally an older upscale hotel, the facade has been recently renovated, giving the entrance a modern and grand appearance. Pros: The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a 10-minute walk from Luohu Port. While the room's original furnishings have a classic, somewhat dated feel, it was spotlessly clean and offered good value for money, especially at less than 400 RMB on a Saturday. Minor drawbacks: 1. The hotel hallways have noticeably low ceilings. 2. Only 3 out of 5 elevators were operational. Major Drawbacks: 1. The banquet hall entrance was directly adjacent to my room. An event was held there in the afternoon, creating significant noise. What's more, guests could only access the banquet hall via the guest room corridor, leading to a constant stream of non-guests passing by my door. If this is the unavoidable route for banquet access, then a room in this location should absolutely not be designated as a guest room; it's only fit for a storage or linen room. 2. The air conditioning (AC) was practically useless. Even set to 18℃ with the fan on high, it only produced a very weak, slightly cool breeze. It struggled all night, only managing to cool the room to 27.5℃, resulting in an uncomfortably hot night. I checked in around noon and only returned to my room after 11:30 PM. With an early check-out the next morning for Hong Kong, I simply didn't have the energy or time to request a room change. I find it hard to believe that the previous guest wouldn't have reported this AC issue.

The room was spotlessly clean, and all toiletries, including bath and face towels, were disposable. The in-room movie experience was fantastic, thanks to a Tencent VIP account offering crystal-clear picture quality. The room was quiet, the service was excellent, and complimentary coffee was a nice touch. Crucially, its location is superb, being extremely close to Luohu Port and the subway station. Having stayed here last year on my trip to Hong Kong, I had no hesitation in rebooking it this year. It consistently provides an excellent experience.

We had a great stay here! On our first day, a very helpful lady assisted us with choosing the most suitable rooms for my parents and me. The location is extremely convenient—just a short walk from the MRT. Cleanliness is 10/10. While the exterior may look a little plain, the inside is newly renovated and modern. Level 3 is specially designed for hotel rooms, and our room was smart-automated—we could control features just by saying 'Xiaodu Xiaodu'. A comfortable and high-tech stay!

We are a family of 5 and it is our first time staying in a homestay in Shenzhen. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment that comes with a pool in the apartment.The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. The room does not have any fridge or kettle but there is a shared kitchen just right outside the room. The service is good. When we reached the homestay at 3 am, the homestay staff woke up to help us carry our luggage to our room. The room is clean and towels are changed daily. It is easy to find food near the homestay. There are many restaurants within walking distance. It is near to dongmen underground shopping. We will definitely return when we visit Shenzhen.

The Renaissance Shenzhen Luohu Hotel is located in Shenzhen's Luohu District, boasting an incredibly convenient location! It's right near Grand Theater Station on Metro Line 1, just a 5-minute walk away, making it super close to Dongmen Pedestrian Street and MixC for shopping. Diwang Mansion is directly opposite the hotel, offering absolutely stunning night views! Breakfast provides a wide variety of options, with Cantonese specialties like Cheong Fun and dim sum, as well as Western choices. Guest Relations staff Eason and Mina provided warm, meticulous, and thoughtful service. The bedding was so comfortable I didn't want to get out of bed. The bathroom's wet/dry separation design was very practical, and the room also featured a spacious bathtub. The Agraria toiletries smelled wonderful. There are tons of dining options around the hotel, with a super popular, long-standing dim sum restaurant just within a 10-minute walk, and a lively bar street nearby to unwind in the evenings. It's also very convenient for business travelers, being just a few metro stops from the Exhibition Center. For a five-star hotel, the value for money is exceptional. The staff were all friendly and approachable, and quick to respond to any issues. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Shenzhen for leisure or business!

The hotel is in a large building complex on the high floors. Check desk was small on the 30th floor, you had to pay for the pool use and the brekkie was a paper bag with a 4 meat buns with soy milk that you bring back to your bedrooms. The rooms was nice and big, clean and comfy beds. The location is good. 5 mins walk to the shopping and food district of Shenzhen. Lots of local shops for drinks n snacks.

The hotel rooms are brand new, spacious, and the ambiance is fantastic. They are fully equipped with comfortable beds and excellent water pressure, and we loved the smart room controls. The location is super convenient for getting around, being very close to Dongmen Old Street. Highly recommend! Our flight was in the evening, and the front desk staff kindly arranged a late check-out for us. Both the cleaning staff and breakfast service personnel were incredibly friendly and hospitable. While having a laundry service is a thoughtful touch, we were quite disappointed that our washed clothes were not delivered back to our room; we had to go and retrieve them ourselves. What's even more frustrating is that the clothes were still soaking wet as they hadn't been dried at all. As a result, our clothes, which weren't smelly to begin with, now had a worse odor.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel very much. We traveled to shenzhen a few times as a family, and this is the first time we picked a hotel in Lowu. The location is great. The room is clean and big - look exactly like the picture showed. The only thing is that we need a real refrigerator in the room. If they have that, it will be perfect. The breakfast on 3/F is good too. We had breakfast there for 2 consecutive days. Food choices are pretty good and they change their menu every day. So you won't feel boring eating the same thing if you stay longer. The service is really good too. The staff here are all super professional, friendly, and helpful. I am especially impressed by the staff in the restaurant at 3/F. William, one of the staff in the restaurant, is always helping everyone, and he always carries a smile on his face. There's another staff member on 4/F super nice and helpful, but I forgot her name. We were asking the direction of the swimming pool, she didn't even tell us how to go but brought us there. On the same floor, there's also a kids' playroom and a gym room. It's perfect for raining days. You can have so many activities even staying in the hotel itself. So overall, i liked the hotel and I'll definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel itself has insufficient parking. As a chain brand, they should really plan ahead for any conferences or events, always prioritizing guests. It's simply unacceptable for hotel guests to have to park off-site and pay out of pocket. The hotel manager eventually helped resolve the issue after some back-and-forth, but with such limited parking by design, the management really should have proactive contingency plans in place when events are being held. This is quite surprising for a chain brand. Moving on to their 'family-friendly' facilities, they simply aren't. The 'kids' play area' shown in the picture is the most dismal I've ever encountered. Honestly, it would be better if they just didn't advertise having one at all. They really shouldn't be targeting the family market, as the hotel's facilities and amenities simply don't meet the requirements. For families like ours, who frequently stay at various family-friendly hotels, the difference is stark. My advice would be for them to just abandon the 'family hotel' concept entirely. Regarding the family room, both the website and my booking confirmation stated there would be toys. However, upon arrival, all we found were Paul Frank decorations. This is a clear case of misrepresentation. The specific theme isn't the point; the issue is that your website explicitly promised toys. After I complained, they did eventually switch us to a themed room that actually had toys. Overall, my impression is that this hotel, being close to the high-speed rail, is suitable for business travelers looking for a convenient place to rest. For a vacation, I definitely wouldn't recommend it.
