The Eastbury & Spa

We stayed two nights in a family suite with breakfast included. The hotel is in a great location with the main high street a mere 10 minutes walk. The hotel is deceptive at first as it is only when you arrive from the car park entrance around the back that you see their beautiful hotel grounds are which are very well maintained. The Spa is located in the grounds and there are garden games available to guests. The restaurant is lovely and it was great to have our breakfast with a view of the gardens. The breakfast was plenty and provided lots of choices to suit our family. Our family suite was really comfortable with plenty of space for a family of four. The 'White Company' toiletries were a big hit, as well as the choice of hot drinks and biscuits provided in the room. The staff were very friendly throughout our stay and made us feel very welcome. At the time the bar was not open but we were able to order drinks and snacks which were brought to us whilst we used the 'Morning Room' one evening -the girls enjoyed playing with all the different board/card games provided. My wife and I had a massage treatment in the spa that was really relaxing and would recommend booking one. Sherbourne was a lovely town to visit with lots of individual shops and would recommend a visit to the Abbey. We loved our stay and hope to do it all again one day soon.

A truly gem where you can switch off from noise and rush. We stayed in Mint Suite and the whole family including our furry friend enjoyed. Plenty of space indoor and outdoor, from the lovely patio to the garden. Amazing breakfast too with a nice touch of sausage to my datschund. Looking forward for another stay. Thanks to the whole team!!

We stayed at The Eastbury for one night in a Victorian Garden Suite. The suite was spacious and very comfortable with extra pillows and blankets if needed. The bathroom was large with a walk in shower, lovely toiletries, luxurious towels and flannels. The room had tea and coffee making facilities with fresh milk kept in the fridge, and complimentary shots of sloe gin. Breakfast was plentiful with a help yourself selection of cereals, fresh fruits, yogurts, juices, pastries and toast along with various cooked options. The hotel has comfortable lounge areas and a billiard table room. During our stay the bar was not open but we could order drinks to have in the lounge or our room. Very pleased with our stay at TEH. All the staff were very pleasant and very helpful.

Stayed here once before when it still had a restaurant and thought we would have another go. Wasn’t disappointed. Staff are great, even found us an alternative room as my wife was dreaming of having a bath lol….loads of places to eat in the evening all within walking distance. Breakfast was amazing. Definitely recommend.

Great location right in the centre walking distance to the wonderful unique shops in Sherborne with its own parking. Room was spacious and very comfortable (a little hot but it was a mild spell in March). We had fun playing snooker and the other lounges looked well stocked with games and books. We booked the spa for an exclusive hour, a very quirky hobbit house with outside tub, indoor hydro and jacuzzi shower. Unfthe steam room was out of order but it was reflected in the price. Lots of good recommendations for evening meals and we chose The Green which was incredible. Breakfast was perfect, lots of choice and delicious. Great treat in a lovely town.

Lovely staff and generally an excellent experience. The hotel is very clean and smart. The guest lounges are really comfortable with quality furniture. The conservatory where breakfast is served could do with updating but the breakfast was good. My only suggestion beyond that would be to upgrade their breakfast tea!
