This hotel is less than a year old, so our expectations were high. They were met. The hotel still had a new smell to it and the room was very clean. The pleasant surprise we had was the friendliness of the staff, from the people at the front desk to the people who prepared and stocked the breakfast buffet and finally to the manager who checked us out. To a person, it was apparent that they were proud to work at this hotel. We’ll return to this hotel if we use that route on a future vacation.

Very nice Brand new hotel! Very clean and comfortable. I read complaints about the thermostat light, ours didn’t light up, the room was nice and dark. My husband wished the pillows were larger. With a king size, you only get four small pillows. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was average, nothing to be excited about. We had a nice and enjoyable stay.

Pros: new, clean, pleasant neighborhood, no traffic noise. Friendly desk clerks and breakfast staff. Nice breakfast. Great comforter on bed. Easy internet, had to log in only once, not every day. Cons: stripped down for a Hampton. No easy chair, no floor lamp, no luggage rack in closet. Room was dark at night, inadequate lighting. Shower shampoo container empty. Thin walls—had to move away from noisy neighbor with loud TV. Room service only every other day and it consisted only of fresh towels and emptying of waste baskets, and they didn’t straighten the bed covers--room looked messy after they were done. TV reception very spotty—sound and screen died briefly every few minutes. The motel custodian could not fix our TV. $154 per night for two queen beds here seemed overpriced.
