A Hidden Gem in Shimla Where do I begin? There are so many wonderful things about this hotel. Location: The location is unbeatable. Nestled in the Shimla mountains, it's right next to the Jakhu temple, offering stunning views and a peaceful environment. I stayed in a corner room, which I highly recommend—it’s amazing with a giant tree overlooking the room. Transportation: For travel, you can arrange taxis or rent a moped from Victor at Himalayan Moto Quest for 800 rupees per day plus a returnable deposit of 3000 rupees. The moped ride around Shimla from the hotel is incredible. Driving is safe, and the drivers are quite good. Rooms: The rooms are clean and I’d rate them as 2-star by UK standards and 3-star by Indian standards, but the food is definitely 5-star. I’ve traveled across India for a year, and this place is among the top 3 hotels I’ve visited, including many 5-star ones. The dinner meals are top-level artisan street food—if you're British, you'll know what this means. Facilities: The bathroom facilities are clean, with hot and warm water. They’re practical, not fancy, but considering the incredible value for the location and food, they’re more than sufficient. The food is so cheap but so good—it really is the best. Breakfast: Breakfast is good with plenty of selection for everyone. Staff: If there was a 6-star rating for staff, this place would get it! The owner is lovely, always on hand, and really helpful with taxis and local information. The staff are amazing, eager to serve, and have a good standard of English, which is very helpful. Nothing is too much trouble, and you can clearly see they are well-treated and highly motivated. The owner has an international background in hospitality and has clearly invested time in training and motivating his team. Overall, throughout all of India—and I have traveled extensively—this place for a mid-budget stay is No. 1. You would be a fool not to book it.

Excellent stay would definitely recommend good food great service situated near jakhu temple approx 600m from hotel. Staff is very cooperative. Very Beautiful view. Taxi can be provided by the hotel if needed. In all great experience definitely recommended.

Great place! Located about a 30 minute walk from the mall (centre of town) this location is very senic and super quiet at night. The manager was amazing and helped organize cabs and explained a lot of things to us about the area. Food was very good and staff genuinely friendly. This was by far the best value of any hotel we have stayed at in India! Highly recommended!

We wanted a value for money hotel that is little away from the hustle of the Mall Road but at the same time not too far from it. Located between Sanjauli and the Mall, Jakhu Vibes turned out to be a perfect decision for us. Given the price and the hotel category, we had little expectations when we checked in. But the owner Mr. Sudesh ji and his team, especially Nishant, surprised us with their warm welcome. Their hospitality reflected a personalized touch and we we had nothing to complain. Their pet dog Jojo is a cuteheart and we started missing him the moment we checked out. Food was homely and delicious. Amenities were sufficient given the price. Nishant (and Jojo) took us for a nature walk in the morning and it was a beautiful experience worth mentioning. Overall, a wonderful VALUE FOR MONEY stay it was at Jakhu Vibes.

Before i write anything i must thank Mr. Shivendra Singh for suggesting us the stay one must not miss ! Now! its all about how to attend the call to a warm departure , you dont need a hotel management Degree for that! Mr. Sudesh sharma and his team members were their for everybody serving Kehwa arranging rooms and involved i so many activities.they make you feel safe,comfortable,and their love to the mother nature . i cant describe what i felt ,closing with only one request - MUST visit before you are in shimla ,MUST visit if you're planning for trip with family . And woh feeling wala banda bhi hai!!!! Mele chacha ki shadi me jalul jalul aana - SEE Mr. JOJO there. 5 stars for all the hospitality !!!

The place gives you positive vibes. Staff is courteous, would like thanks Mr Sudesh @ front desk and Mr Deepak and all other staff from housekeeping done great work. Food was very very good. Would like to thank Chef too. All staff are so enthusiastic.
