Perfect location on the waterfront
Simple Japanese style rooms, lots of space, great bathroom and shower.
Good restaurant next door, good food, good value and served by a robot.
7/11 couple of doors down.

Nice hotel on the waterfront in the cute little town of Shimoda. Room was large and comfortable with a great view of the sea. Onsen was nice too. A couple of restaurants right beside the hotel which is convenient and about 20 minutes walk to the main town area.

We stayed here for two nights and one night without meals.
First of all, the photo of the hotel shows grass growing all over the place, but this is the grass in the park across the street.
The facility is not very clean, but it is not unpleasant either. It seemed like they were cleaning the place well, trying to make the most of the current facilities. You can see the ocean from the window, and depending on the time of day, you can enjoy a beautiful view.
The hotel is located about 1km from the city's downtown, so you can walk there and back.
The hot spring is on the second floor, and you can see the ocean from the window. However, you cannot see it when you are using it.

在日本難得一見的大房間了，可能因為是和式榻榻米房原本能夠放多個榻榻米的原因吧。
房間：足夠大，推開落地窗外面是海景，還有公園，這一點是很加分的。用鑰匙開關門，不上鎖的話默認是門外能打開的，要注意下安全。
交通：在公交【海遊公園前】站附近，但公交每天衹有幾班，沒有接駁車，也可以步行前往下田站，沿着國道大約要走20分鐘，晚上比較黑沒有路燈建議注意交通安全。
周邊：離711和すき家都僅有幾步之遙，補貨很方便
樓下有個公園，大草坪很漂亮拍照很出片。
設施：年代比較久了，所以設施衹能説是一般，房間沒有wifi，在公共區有；既然沒有wifi，電視自然是也沒有網絡的，基本上不能看；房間熱水需要放一會兒才能有，浴室是純日式設計，矮花灑小浴缸用小板凳洗那種，是否喜歡要看個人喜好了。
温泉：分男湯和女湯的大浴場，室內，有窗户可以看到外面，但也看不太清。水質感覺和國內温泉也差不多。有兩台按摩儀，試了下比國內的舒服一些，算是緩解了一下～

房間還不錯，窗户正對着海面，也算寬敞。
交通不太方便，雖然門口就是公交站（海遊公園前），但從JR下田站過來的公交很少，又不像別的酒店有班車，步行過來17分鐘差不多。
早晚餐説得過去吧，服務員是倆越南妹，會日語不會英語，問句簡單的“這要烤多久”都得靠Google。前台晚班有個木訥大叔也是，必須翻譯好了日語給他看才懂。
