This is a newer hotel that is in a nice setting, in fact tte carpet still smells new. There is a nice walking trail close by. Upon our arrival, the front desk staff were great, greeting me and being real. Our room was really nice. The first night, there were no cookies as listed, but on the second night they were there. We only have three complaints: The breakfast at this hotel was bland, but what we have come accustomed to this from Marriott brands. I long for the day of fresh served food, made to order pancakes and omelettes. Those days are now gone as are the manager's nightly special, i.e., free snacks and mini dinner food. The second complaint, and maybe this is by design, but the bathroom door is not level and closes on it's own, smacking the door plate next to the shower. The third issue was that I had a hold placed on my account on the day I arrived, and then an additional hold early the next morning. Not sure why two were done, but they should be off my credit card by now. Everything else at the hotel was top rate.

The property was very nice and the rooms clean. The staff did a great job showing us other amenities the hotel had. There is one thing I believe the rooms needed, and that would be a clock. None was provided in the room. Also, a pamphlet about how to navigate the TV would have been nice.

Super Comfortable! Excellent stay! Sweet spot nestled next to a nature reserve, yet right in town and convenient to all amenities.
