Outstanding

CCeci ChoOne of the best onsen I must say. It’s very very near Shirahige Falls about 5 minutes walk in thick snow. But there aren’t any convenient shops or restaurants within reach. I guess you’ll need to drive. Limited public bus to reach the resort and it costs 660 yen. If you missed then you’ll need to get a taxi which cost about 8000 yen. We took the day trip around Biei which cost about 5500 per person to 8 locations around Biei and the last location you guess it right, it’s Shirahige fall. The tour bus driver very kind to drop us at the onsen resort They served the best saisaki and breakfast. Be sure to get your stomach empty before you reach the premise for the dinner.

Very Good

Qqls76A homestay run by the two couples is clean and tidy. The room has a bathroom, but the bath has to go to the first floor. The Western breakfast is good. It is about 3 kilometers away from Meiyi Station. After arriving at Meiyi Station, call the landlord and the landlord will come to pick it up; it will be delivered to the station when you leave. Very good experience, recommended.

DDashakI came with my family. It seems like a family oriented hotel - buffet menu and nothing to do in the hotel. The room had a gas heater which wasn’t very suitable for such a small room that we had to leave the window slightly open and run the air purifier on high all night. The staff were okay just doing their job but nobody spoke a single word of English. It took us extra 15 minutes wandering around the hotel as the google map location was not accurate. I very much liked the onsen amenities! They were great - head to toe care amenities. But its close location to Biei and the lake make up. I don’t think I’ll come back but for the very cheap price, you get what you pay for. Lesson very much learned!

YYanxiaojiuIt is a B&B run by ********* and speaks Chinese. Dinner and breakfast are charged separately. Dinner is 4,500 yen and breakfast is 1,500 yen. I went there once in autumn and winter, and the food has not changed. If you are staying consecutively or going there for the second time, it is recommended to inform the owner in advance, and they will update some dishes for you. The room is a bit old and the public bathroom on the first floor is not open. If you have a car at night, it’s very convenient to go to Shinei-no-oka to watch the stars!

GGuest UserThe room is large and comfortable; the breakfast is delicious and sufficient; you can rent electric bicycles and ride the puzzle road (see picture). Curry rice is the specialty, cheap and good. It's a pity that I didn't take photos of the hotel

飛飛鳥二個There is a shuttle bus to and from the tourist spots, and it was a relaxing stay even though it was only one night. We had three meals. All were delicious. The staff were very kind. The facilities and rooms were a bit plain, but they were clean and quiet. Maybe it was because of the temperature, but the hot spring was the hottest I've ever been in my life. I couldn't stand it, so I went in for a warm bath, but it was lukewarm. I'll stay here again in the summer and climb Mt. Tokachi.

GGuest UserWe wanted to visit Shirogane, hence we chose the few hotels there. We settled on this one because of room availability and the guarantee that it was non-smoking. The hotel is old, but it's like all the other hotels in this area. We enjoyed the osen (especially the outdoor setting), which turned out to be free (as opposed to what was reflected on Trip.com website); we confirmed with the hotel before we arrived that this was indeed the case. Great that breakfast and dinner were included as there are very few other choices in this area.
