Paloma Finesse Side

Our stay at PALOMA Finesse Side left an exceptionally positive impression – from the moment we arrived until the day we left, we felt genuinely welcomed. Check-in was smooth and efficient, with a warm greeting and welcome drinks. On our early departure, we were offered sandwiches and coffee to take with us – a small but thoughtful touch. We stayed in a Studio Swim Up room, which was very well designed – spacious, bright, and cleaned thoroughly every day. The terrace offered plenty of privacy, and direct access to the pool was a real convenience. A minor downside was the extremely cold floors and low-quality toilet paper, but these were small details that did not affect the overall experience. The hotel grounds are beautifully landscaped and meticulously maintained, with areas well suited for both relaxation and activities. The beach is clean and well-organized, with complimentary sunbeds and attentive staff who bring drinks directly to your spot. The pool layout is also well thought out – the main areas are calm and relaxing, while the water park, located in a separate area, offers great fun for both kids and adults. Unfortunately, none of the pools were heated, which was a downside considering the season. The hotel offers a wide range of daily and evening activities. The entertainment was of good quality but didn’t interfere with peaceful rest. We enjoyed the spa and hammam treatments, although additional services were promoted quite persistently. One of the hotel’s strongest points is the staff – everyone we encountered was polite, helpful, and genuinely kind, always ready to assist even with the smallest matters. Communication via WhatsApp with the hotel staff was very convenient, with fast and informative replies. However, the official hotel app (at least on iPhone) felt unintuitive and had limited functionality. The food was excellent – a wide selection of healthy and high-quality options. We especially appreciated how well the hotel catered to small children – offering baby food jars, formula, and the option to have meat, fish, or vegetables prepared and pureed for babies. In summary, the hotel truly lives up to its 5-star rating and is a fantastic choice for both couples and families. Considering the quality of the services, the beautiful environment, and the outstanding staff, this is a place we would definitely recommend – and we hope to return again.

The hotel is on a plus. The bars are also okay. The hotel staff is nice. The rooms are spacious and clean, but some elements in the room need refreshing (for example, the grout in the bathroom). Sometimes you have to ask for the bar to be refilled, but there is no problem with that - you can contact the staff via whatsapp. The attractions for children are great. The water park is large with many attractions. The food in the restaurants is delicious. The beach is wide and clean. The gym is well equipped. The hotel shop is also very well equipped. We still have a few days ahead of us.

Prachtig hotel met fijne sfeer en vriendelijk personeel. Ook het eten is heerlijk, vers en iedere dag ander aanbod. De kinderen vinden vooral het aquapark met de glijbanen fantastisch. De zee is wat ruig maar ook een prachtige plek om de dag door te brengen.

Dit is zeker geen 5 sterren waard hotel… De badkamer was vol schimmel en er hangden zelfs spinnen op de plafond. Bed was volledig kapot, hoekprofiel die eraf viel en waar ik me in kon snijden, dit 2 maal gemeld aan de receptie en antwoord gekregen ‘we zullen dit in orde brengen’ als we terug op kamer kwamen niets was hersteld profiel lag daar nog. Bijna geen 1 van de medewerkers die daar werken spreekt Engels. Dagelijks kwam ik tegen dat ik iets bestelde en kreeg iets helemaal anders dan besteld. Je probeert uit te leggen dat het verkeerde bestelling gebracht hebben en lopen ze gewoon weg. Wanneer je naar de ‘thema’ restaurants gaat kennen ze niet het verschil tussen ‘starter’ en ‘main course’ alles wat je besteld krijg je direct aangeboden. In de avond moet je lang wachten tot ze je komen bedienen. De kers op de taart was de laatste avond in de buffet restaurant waar we gewoon een insect in de bloemkool gevonden hadden.. Toen we de verantwoordelijke probeerden aan te spreken hierover (want hij sprak ook geen Engels..) kwam hij dood normaal ‘sorry’ zeggen en was weg.. Wetende dat dit hotel in de zomer rond de 5000-6000 euro kost is dit helemaal niet waard.. Slechte service en vuile hotel..

Hôtel très agréable et spacieux. Énormément de place autour de la piscine et à la plage. Tout était très propre et les restaurants délicieux. Beaucoup de choix au buffet. Personnel agréable et souriant ! Je recommande vivement cet établissement !

This is our 7th time in Turkey and first time in Side. Pros and cons below Pros Hotel staff are brilliant, polite, friendly and generally can't do enough for you. Shout out to Yakup from the entertainment team who is always smiling and bringing the good vibes. Kids club, again lovely staff and my 7 year old enjoyed going but the activities need more variety, they mostly cater to younger children. They could do with more activities for children 7+. Rooms are large, modern, in very good condition, comfortable beds and pillows, good AC etc. No complaints here at all. Nice beach Excellent water park, the best hotel water park we've ever been to, big plus if you have older children, though there are also slides for younger ones. Cons Food - hate to criticise here but having been to Turkey 7 times now it's difficult to not draw comparisons with other hotels. It is pretty much the same food for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day at the main restaurant, other hotels we've been to have themed evenings which gives guests a better variety of cuisines to break it up a bit. The quality of the meat in particular was variable, sometimes great, other times inedible. The beach snack bar was ok though food often wasn't hot, the med kitchen food was also luke warm and small portions. Entertainment was a real let down, again we've mostly stayed around antalya so have been spoilt for choice. There is entertainment on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and it all feels very low budget for a hotel of it's class. Overall we had a nice time and the staff are brilliant but we probably wouldn't return due to the above.
