Siesta Park Holiday Resort Absolute Beachfront Resort

Really friendly staff and nice park in itself. Set amongst trees with ducks visiting us, it had a really laid-back vibe. The units were dated but clean and tidy. Be aware that there is no tea, coffee or milk. I was caught out, but it was really no problem with a servo out front. Thanks for a pleasant night.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Siesta Park Holiday Resort in Busselton recently. From the moment I arrived, the hosts went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. They were incredibly accommodating, offering helpful tips on the best places to visit and ensuring my stay was smooth and enjoyable. Their hospitality truly made me feel at home and, as a solo traveller, this is important to me. The resort is set in a stunning, quiet location with breathtaking coastal views and local wildlife. The beach is just a few steps away, and I loved walking along the pristine shoreline each morning. The peaceful atmosphere, combined with the abundant wildlife, really allowed me to relax, unwind and enjoy nature at its finest. One of the selling points for me was the availability of EV charging facilities, which made my stay even more convenient. It’s great to see the resort embracing sustainability and catering to electric vehicle owners. Siesta Park is perfectly situated for exploring the region, with so much to see and do nearby. From wineries to scenic drives, everything was just a short trip away, giving me plenty of options during my stay. Overall, Siesta Park Holiday Resort exceeded my expectations. The serene coastal views, the quiet, relaxing environment, and the welcoming hosts made my stay truly memorable. I am already planning a return visit.

This accommodation was cheap during the school holidays which should have been a Warning Sign. It was described as a popular simple style unit which had been renovated. On the plus side, the location was fantastic, only metres of the beach. Unfortunately during the winter month we visited, the beach was knee deep in sea ****. Another plus was the kids play ground areas which were dotted all over the site - interesting and imaginative and loved by our child but very busy and very popular with the older kids. It was the chalet that let us down badly. It was freezing cold (one tiny heater for the whole chalet). To me it had that unfriendly school camp dormitory feel - lino floor and cheap furniture which was totally unpractical for anything resembling a relaxing holiday. There was little evidence of 'renovations'. The tv was perched so high on the wall we suffered neck strain, the 2 seater cane settee was impossible to get remotely comfy on. Strangely none of the cupboards in the kitchen or bedrooms had doors on, there was no hot water tap in the bathroom and the shower head splurted water everywhere except where needed. Bedding was provided but I would have taken my own pillows if I'd seen the ones provided beforehand. If you want one (basic) step up from a campsite, go for this but if you want anything resembling home comforts in a holiday environment, forget it. Spend a few more dollars and upgrade to something where you'll have wonderful holiday memories rather than reliving an experience of being on 'Survivor'.

Ok where to start with this one. Booked to stay Thurs - Sunday for a work family weekend. I arrived Thursday and the wife and kids 9pm Thursday night. Now in the TWO bedroom units there is actually only 1 small oil style room heater and a dodgy gas heater in the living room. Thursday night was freezing for the wife and I as the kids had the heater. So the next day we asked a very simple question. COULD WE PLEASE HAVE ANOTHER HEATER FOR THE SECOND BEDROOM. I will list below in point form the reply’s we received from the OWNER just before we were given our money back for being difficult and asked to leave by 12pm on Friday. 1. No you cant have another heater if you want one we will charge you because it will use electricity. (crazy hey). 2. Why don’t you share the heater between rooms. (Um because we are trying to sleep) 3. Leave the gas heater in the living room area on all night and crack a window. (Yes she actually said to do this and it does not heat a bedroom). 4. We should be grateful because we got a good deal. 5 We stayed once last year and knew what to expect. 6. No one else has said anything (not true spoke to some people). And after all those STUPID excuses for a basic heater we were told we are being difficult and get out by 12pm. Some pics below of the 1972 paper thing blankets that couldn’t keep a hot potato warm. A newspaper is thicker and probably warmer. Absolutely disgusting that this is one of WA’s representatives for hospitality and thanks for completely ruining what was going to be an enjoyable family weekend. PEANUTS!!!

The two things that was great about this place was that the accommodation was clean and the beach was lovely. Bring your own chairs as it’s like sitting on a plank, beds are similar. Play grounds not updated from the 80’s.. no wifi which was not a problem however dont expect to watch a late night movie on TV, no sound and controllers don’t work.. Not a great family holiday, would not stay their again.. ps..don’t forget to sweep and mop the floors before you leave and the receptionist needs to smile

Stayed in 3 bedroom unit with ourselves, parents and a couple of kids. Lots of space for all of us. The units are older but spotlessly clean. Love the cooking fires available outside each unit and along the seafront. Amazing quiet beachfront location with lovely picnic areas under the peppermint trees. Jetty and some adventure playground equipment for use by guests. The flying fox was not in operation when we were there and we had some friends who just came back and said the same. Well priced and much less manic than some of the caravan parks along this stretch. I messed up our booking and the manager was great at sorting this out without penalties. We will return.
