Holiday Inn Express SILVER CITY by IHG

NEVER again. The hotel did not have the room I reserved. They tried to switch me to another room without the amenities I needed. The front desk staff simply said, "We don't have the room available that you booked." The staff seemed unconcerned about addressing the reservation problem and finally offered to cancel the reservation. I arrived around 5 pm, with two young children and was faced with the possibility of no place to sleep for the night. The hotel staff did not offer to help me find another hotel and only said, "We won't charge you for the cancellation." The lobby was full of dead bugs. The POOL was CLOSED for maintenance. The pool was the main reason I booked this particular hotel, and there is no notification on the website about the pool closure. I booked another hotel. I will NEVER stay at this place again. After contacting *******, I was given a full refund, including the Key Points used to book this reservation.

The front desk staff was excellent and provided great information, the room however was ok but bathroom was dirty. Smelled like urine in shower area and toilet seat was falling off the toilet.

It’s the middle of June and the pool was out for “maintenance”. There was no dog fee online but I got charged in person. There was a large stain in the middle do the carpet of the bedroom. I found long hairs near the ceiling of the bathroom and it took hours for the room to cool down when we first arrived. Breakfast was basic and repeated both sat and sunday

Room 327 volume on the tv remote doesn’t work. Stuck at level 13. Too quiet for my bad hearing. Cabinets shake as you walk. Everything else was great.

Definitely needs some shower/tub TLC. Bathroom was not cleaned properly. Hair on door, in sink, in the shower and on the floor. Yuck!

Not so clean, smoke detector hanging. Lots of bird poop by front entrance. Walls thin.

The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was good with good choices. We had a very nice stay

The parking lot was well lit with ample spaces. The staff were friendly. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We would choose to stay there again the next time we are visiting Silver City.

The door to the room didn't seem very secure. You could see light from the hallway outlining the entire door at night. The street light was out
