The first evening went well. We had a problem with the gas heater and aircon., which was resolved by the staff. Waking on the first morning we found there was no power in the plugs in the kitchen/lounge area. The aircon. in the bedroom was not working, the fridges, stove and plug for the kettle were not working. We reported it at reception and was told there was a power outage in parts of Knysna.They did not contact us when the power went off to warn us what was happening. We later found there was no hot water for a shower and no wifi. When reporting this we were told that this is what happens with a power outage.No apologies. The bed was turned the first night but not the second night. The staff did not keep us up to date of what was happening.
