Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree

New resort with a lot of greenery. Online check in and check out. Front desk were helpful. Appreciate the birthday cake and room deco for our birthday staycation. Roof top pool was just so so only, the plants there were drying up. Breakfast place spacious, normal food.

We really enjoyed our 2 days 1 night stay in Mandai Rainforest resort, the staff are amazing, we were served by Ms Sophen with welcome drink and essential oil towels, she also guided us to get early check in instead of waiting for 3pm peak check in hours. We managed to get our room by 12pm which is amazing. The room is clean and well maintained, the environment is quiet also hardly hear any noise. There is cold lemon water and guava drink with cookies conveniently located at the lobby, so everyone after visiting the parks can have a quick drink, there is one staff diligently replenishing the cookies. The hotel provided us with a birthday cake as I mentioned to them that it’s for my son’s birthday celebration. Because we checked in early, so they didn’t have the time to decorate the room, but they called in asking what time is good for them to do the decoration. Overall, I’m very happy with the stay, only downside is that there is not enough space or seats to accommodate more guests at the pool side, but there were free ice cream served at the pool side. Definitely recommend it!

Location is in a tropical paradise , lovely architecture. Great view of the lake , very serene . Also has programs like nature walks educational tours for families with kids . The breakfast buffet was really good . Staff were amazing .

This hotel healed my soul, heart and mind. Yes it's kinda expensive, yes it's outside of the city... But I rarely felt this good just BEING in a place. The scenery around is out of this world and will leave you in awe (and I talk from the perspective of a European that traveled a lot both in an outside of cities). The structure is interesting and daring and welcoming and I was literally in love from the moment I stepped in the waiting hall to the very last step I left. The building is new, modern, clean everywhere, tasteful and amazing under all aspects. Again even if this hotel was not in the middle of the rain forest it would still be an incredibly beautiful hotel... But it is and so you're in one of the most beautiful hotels while being surrounded by mother Earth and it's lush nature 😍 I could keep boasting on and on but it's hard to explain how beautiful it is to swim in the amazing pool while staring in awe at the forest. 😱🎉 The room was also amazing (I was at floor 3) with a good sized room with amazing services and furniture an incredibly comfortable bed. OH the food at the restaurant was also amazing even if a bit on the expensive side, but definitely totally 100% worth every penny. Souvenir store was also nice, a bit small but the products that I got were all really nice.. Again a bit expensive but that's expected. Thank you Mandai Hotel Staff... You really won a loyal customer if I'll ever happen to be around again and you definitely helped me heal my soul after a tiring working trip. ❤️

The room is very clean and decor is lovely. Suitable for all green lovers. The rooftop pool is excellent. Had a great time here.

Did not see any wildlife around, but the place is very nice. Just 10 mins walk from the zoo, room service take at least 30 mins to get anything from them. Breakfast was very nice tho.
