the room was a suitable size for 2 people. the bed is quite comfortable but the walls are abit thin as we can hear chairs moved in neighbouring rooms and people talking in the corridor. location wise, there is a bus stop directly connected with buses to vivocity and also easily walkable.
I chose to stay here for a night because the pool and bar caught my eye . The pool looks stunning at night, making it a great choice for a relaxing staycation. Super convenient too, with a pedestrian bridge leading straight to Cold Storage for any essentials. The front desk staff were warm and friendly. Overall, a very pleasant experience.
The location of the hotel is excellent! It also has a designated area for taxi and ride-sharing drop-offs and pick-ups, making travel around the city effortless. Access to Sentosa Island and VivoCity is incredibly convenient from the hotel—just cross the street, and you’ll find yourself at VivoCity, where there are plenty of shopping and dining options. The Sentosa Express station is located on Level 3 of VivoCity, providing an easy and hassle-free way to reach Sentosa Island.

Good location but the cleanliness is questionable, noticed cockroach in the walkway and tiny insects resembling bed bugs crawling on the bed covers. Room also had a musty smell. The staff however was quick to react and helped to change a new room upon reporting about the incident. The new room does look cleaner but I was worrying about the bed bugs all night that I didn't get a good sleep. I don't intend to stay here again.
Review for New Cape Inn
New Cape Inn is a budget-friendly hotel located in the Tiong Bahru area of Singapore, known for its charming blend of heritage and modern vibes. The hotel is conveniently situated near Tiong Bahru MRT station and within walking distance of trendy cafes, local eateries, and the popular Tiong Bahru Market.
The rooms are functional, offering basic amenities like air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and a flat-screen TV. While the space is sufficient for short stays, the decor and furnishings could use an update to enhance the overall experience. Cleanliness is generally acceptable, though some areas may require more attention.
One of the hotel’s key advantages is its affordability, especially considering its central location. However, the lack of additional facilities, such as an in-house restaurant or gym, may be a drawback for those seeking more comprehensive amenities.
The staff are friendly and accommodating, providing helpful information about the area and ensuring a smooth check-in process.
Overall, New Cape Inn is a practical choice for budget-conscious travelers who prioritize location over luxury. It’s best suited for short stays or those looking to explore Singapore without breaking the bank.

Had a great stay here - front desk staff were super friendly & welcoming, room was clean & location was superb
Cons - the shower gets flooded really easily & the tv connection wasn’t the best
Our stay at Coliwoo Keppel was absolutely delightful! The room was extremely clean, everything is brand new, many storage spaces with a nice big kitchen and a bathroom. Communication with the staff was excellent at all times - everyone is lovely! Also the location is extremely convenient for access to many areas around Singapore with multiple bus stops around. Looking forward to visiting again!!!
The hotel is not new, but come with rather good room condition. It is near to Havelock mrt and many buses to other location in Singapore. Quiet place with good food choices nearby. I have to highlight the Chinese cleaner (young lady) was very friendly. It was really great to get some help from her on my first day of arrival. Such a kind person!

KkittingkittySo good! I come here before the place in the past were a bit old for the furniture but cleanliness wise is great, today i come back, it become excellent! The service not to mention fantastic. Staff is kind enough to serve you from door to lift and even care about which room you staying to serve you the best. I really like here so much. I really really have to praise THE SUPER CLEAN BEDSHEET AND ORDOURLESS PILLOW WHICH I AM SUPER IMPRESSED. THOUGH THE ROOM AND HOTEL IS QUITE AGED FROM MY VIEW OF POINT HOWEVER THEY MAINTAIN A SUPER CLEAN BED AND QUILT COVER, MATTRESS FROM MY EXPERIENCE. THIS HOTEL IS CLEAN, VINTAGE VIBE DESIGN, VERY TRADITIONAL VIBE VINTAGE HOTEL BUT CLASSY AND SUPER CLEAN. REALLY LOVE THIS PLACE ALOT, THE SERVICE EXCELLENT. VERY THOUGHTFUL FOE THE GUEST.
FFREDDY ALEJANDROIt was an average hotel but expensive. The room itself is alright, but they have some sort of flies infestation from the bathroom's drain. The front desk guy said it is something difficult to get rid of since it comes from the pipes, but having something to cover while not in use at least will prevent the flies to do not go out and be all over the bathroom.
Rrenana3Excellent service, nice staff and host. Love this clean, spacious and well equitment apartment. A palace ambience and super huge from the path way to the entrance and all the way to the unit. Felt like your own kingdom when you enter. Super economic price for singapore stay like this. The area is hidden in housing estate around tourist spot like chinatown and also towards east west side of singapore. They provide such a clean and huge water pressure not to mention which makes a plus tick for foreigner who is worried of water hygience. After my check out the staff also greeted me with super nice attitude and easy going personality. Very nice place that won't push or kick guest out once you complete the stay, everything was smooth and perfect. Nice idea of this concept!
