Holiday Inn London - Heathrow M4Jct.4 by IHG

This says holiday inn and the manager and security mentioned this is not and does not belong to holiday inn anymore!! Please do not book as service is very poor and despite being ihg rewards and having a valid holiday inn booking at another location, we are not allowed to enter the premises saying that this place has been bought over by a private client! Scam to put holiday inn brand and a throw of ihg branding!

I attempted to enter the Holiday Inn at 11.00am this morning to ask a porter to call a taxi. I was on an airport shuttle and got out at the Holiday Inn as the shuttle was running late.) As I approached the entrance I was surrounded by a group of men wearing quasi-military black boots and dressed in black, save for blue and white visibility vests. On discovering the reason for my visit they refused to allow me into the hotel. They insisted that I instead go to a vehicle rental company - the name of which I had never heard before - and speak to them. One of the gentlemen repeatedly referred to me as "bro" - we do not know each other and I am old enough to be his father. I have been a customer of the Holiday Inn since 1977.

We stopped here on our way to Terminal 3. They have security guards on the door who were rude and bullish, and while waiting for the shuttle to the airport would not let us use the amenities. Despite us using services in the facility (car hire) and the Holiday Inn advertising that they have “good food good beer good times’ on your way to the airport. We travel a lot around the world and would never recommend the Holiday Inn.

We travelled on 8th March 2023 for a seminar at this hotel and stayed two nights. The staff at the reception were really helpful but in particular, Aliston who looked after our catering needs at the Nick James seminar for the two days was brilliant. Helpful, polite, always willing to help. We were really happy. Thanks Aliston

I find myself,unfortunately,writing this after 11pm and sadly with a ridiculously loud bass-line pounding away three floors below! So much for travelling up to Heathrow and getting a good night sleep before an early morning flight. Got to be up in 6 hours and it’s all the family can hear. We have been to hotel three or four times and it’s been good/great for our needs but this time,it’s very disappointing The room is lovely. Clean. Sizeable. Completely meets our expectations. But it’s Atlantis. The restaurant/nightclub that is attached to the hotel Maybe we haven’t been here on a Saturday night. Pretty sure we won’t be again. I haven’t reviewed anywhere for a couple of years but had to re-download Trip Advisor this evening to warn anyone off who might be thinking of using this as a pre-Heathrow Airport hotel. I don’t know where Atlantis has come from in certainly don’t remember it or it’s bass-line. I’m not that minded to find out. If I had read somewhere in the Hotel blurb that you can have a room but zero chance of sleep,I wouldn’t have booked as I can’t imagine that’s a good business model. Definitely stay away on a Saturday Night if you actually want sleep. I can’t speak for the rest of the weeknights. I can’t imagine I’ll come back anytime soon to find out.

Not a guest but tried to pop in for a coffee while I waited for my shuttle bus back to the airport. The security guard wouldn’t let me in and insisted I had to wait outside in freezing temperatures. What a disgraceful way to treat people.
