Maritimo Beach Hotel

The hotel is very nice, and staff friendly. We arrived in middle of night and first impression of the room was not the best - quite basic and bland. However, much brighter in the morning and once our belongings were unpacked the room looked fine. Didn't like the 2 single beds masquerading as a double. We only ate the buffet breakfast there - good enough although we expected more fresh fruit, not canned. From what we could see, other meals, or at least some of them, were also served as a buffet. Hotel is well situated - very close to nice cove to swim in and several good places to eat. I did pay a visit to the spa (Aegeo Spa) for a massage and was very disappointed. The massage was not unpleasant but the masseuse barely touched my shoulders despite being told this was my problem area. You are then expected to complete a satisfaction survey before you leave, with the manager watching the results as you complete each on line point, and you are questioned on each point you mark them down on. Quite intimidating. Much better services in the village.

Worth staying around the pool at hotel Service is always friendly and make you feel at home Nothing is to much trouble. Athena is always helpful and full of advice and assistance if needed. This is our 2nd visit to Maritimo and the pool bar is a great asset. We leave with saddened hearts, but hope to return in the future

Excellent hotel. We booked bed and breakfast and were pleasantly surprised at the choice of food offered. Good quality produce presented really well. Rooms are spacious and of an exceptional standard, cleaned daily to a very high standard. Pools and grounds are very well maintained with plenty of loungers available even at peak times. However what makes this hotel stand out is the amazing staff who truly want to make your stay with them the best it can possibly be. Special mention to Athena who runs the pool bar so efficiently whilst taking time to chat with the guests, always a cheerful greeting, and the lovely Antonia on reception who looked after us so well from arrival to departure. This will be our hotel of choice when visiting Sissi in the future.

What an amazing find, this hotel is beautiful the staff the food the location, the rooms, the pool area. The amazing friendly lady that works in the pool bar (sorry I forgot your name) you work so hard and always helpful and smiling. Thankyou for making my solo trip memorable and made me feel so welcome. I will defiantly returning xx
