Coastfields Holiday Village

We booked a 3-day stay at Coastfield Holiday Park during the April bank holiday, but it turned out to be one of the worst holiday experiences we’ve had. The main issue was that the toilet in our accommodation was completely unusable—the water wouldn’t drain at all. We reported the issue to reception multiple times, but despite raising the complaint repeatedly, no one ever came to resolve it. What made the situation even worse was the attitude of the receptionist. She was dismissive and unhelpful, and at one point even told us that if we weren’t happy, we should just leave. Each time we asked for an update, we were met with vague responses like, “when someone is available, we’ll send them,” but no action was ever taken. As a result, we were forced to use the shared park toilets for two full days, which was completely unacceptable, especially considering we had paid for accommodation with private facilities. With no resolution in sight and the situation becoming increasingly uncomfortable, we had no choice but to cut our stay short by a day. Overall, the combination of poor maintenance and unprofessional customer service ruined what should have been a relaxing holiday. I strongly advise others to avoid booking here to prevent a similar experience.

Honestly one of the worst experience I’ve ever had with a caravan site, When I was young I would always come here with my family so we decided to book for my in laws and my family 4 adults 3 children we had a phone call the day before to confirm check in time which we was told 2pm so we made our way to reception to check in which we did but also got told because we booked bronze we should actually be booked but still gave us the key,got around to the van and it was in a absolute state dirty bedding everywhere,tables covered in sticky coffee and tea marks bed with stains all over them and just to top it off sick all over the front door . We was then told head of house cleaning was going over to clean it which we had to wait an hour and a half for in this time I asked to speak to a manager because this was not acceptable and honestly so rude and arrogant was told we was a last minute booking we booked August 2024 we are now April 2025 nothing last minute about it ,told he can’t take our word for it !!!! WE WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN !!!

Excellent service by the sales manager james Dixson, and very quick to address us. 🙂 reported our gas fire immediately, after we spoke to him. Also very friendly, and very pleasnt, he assured us of there were any issues at all, to contact him asap.

We looked on Coastfields ingoldmels as we wanted to buy a caravan and we rang up as we seen one we liked and was felt very welcomed on the phone by James Dixon and we went to his office and was greeted with a warm welcome and a hand shake james was very professional and made us feel welcome and after our conversation felt like we known him for years he was very very helpful and we chose another caravan james was always at the end of the phone if we had any problems and he keeps you updated with the process of putting the caravan on the plot and what steps are next ...james made you feel at ease and very much hands on with everything thankyou so much james

I honestly don't know how this dump is still open. It was nice before Coastfields took it over. I had a caravan on site but moved it off. Best thing I ever did. Management is a joke. They're not interested in your comfort or security, just your money.

Had four days in a lodge with hottub . Brilliant accommodation, lovely site. Right on beach, short walk to massive amusement park, massive market and numerous, numerous food outlets. Onsite shop, restaurant and club. Parking is awkward although we managed to park right outside our lodge we witnessed numerous cars not being so lucky. Would go again for sure.
