"Just home from a lovely 9 night stay. The view from the room was amazing. We were lucky to not encounter too many stairs in addition to the hill but even if we did I’m sure it would be worth it. Yes the hills a struggle in the heat but views like that don’t come without it. The room was clean and comfortable, the bar area nice, pool great, never struggled to find a sunbed. Lovely family run Greek hospitality. Great menu, all the basics done well. Alexandra does the best Greek salad by accommodating my dislike of lots of cucumber!! 🤣 Easy to get to the beach, 15 min stroll to town if you go via the beach (nicer/quicker walk than main road) We would definitely return"

"We had a lovely family holiday staying at this hotel. We booked two rooms, one for my wife & I + a room for my teenage daughters. The hotel is very clean & modern, but very relaxed as quite a small hotel. The best thing about this hotel was it's brilliant staff & manager, who did everything possible to make our stay as relaxing as possible. We asked for a Seaview & the next day, we were moved to a beautiful room at the front of the hotel with a view overlooking Kanapitsa bay - it was gorgeous. We also forget one of our bags, when we went to the airport! But the hotel teamsaud no problem & sent is to us via a taxi - which was brilliant service, we were very grateful. The location is also lovely with a 2 minute walk to the local taverna kanapitsa right on the beach - we had dinner here several times, right by the waters edge, looking out on the Aegean sea, absolutely loved it! "

"We stayed at Skiathos Palace hotel in June for our 11th wedding anniversary. It was advertised as a 4 star hotel by our providers so were shocked when we were told we had to pay 105e at the end of the stay. That said, our first impressions were 'wow'. It has beautiful views and the entrance into the hotel is beautiful, clean and airy. The reception staff explained things to us such as booking the shuttle bus etc... and showed us to our room. Our room was clean and had air con included. Generally, the hotel was very clean and has some fabulous views. The food at the poolside is pretty good too. Breakfast was the same as you would get in most hotels which have breakfast included and this leads me up to the negative. When you come up for breakfast, there would be towels already on the sunloungers. We didn't want to be that person so we would have breakfast first but that meant not once in the 7 days were we able to get a sunlounger by the pool; we just wanted 1 day to chill at the hotel. We paid extra for a sea view room not realising that the majority of the rooms are sea view anyway. We used to get woken up by the resident geese which at first annoyed me but then became a concern if we hadn't heard from them! There are steep steps and a hill to get upto the hotel and there is a mini shop too but it really is small. All in all, it is a beautiful hotel, beautiful views and is very clean."

"The location is at the rear of Skiathos town but only a short walk from the Main Street and the bars and restaurants. The staff we friendly and approachable but gave good quality service that fits in with the hotels 5 Star rating. The public areas were clean and of good quality. The bedrooms were also clean but felt in need of some modernisation or refreshment and a little during the daytime owing to the balconies and the small windows. Food and quality of the drinks excellent and not too expensive. The pool was large enough but that made given to the confines of the building around it too little tight on space for the beds. I concur about how annoying it was of guests reserving beds with towels in the morning. This was made even worse when some disappeared for hours either shopping or on excursion who knows but reserve if you don’t wish to stay or at least take your towels away. Be better if the hotel marshalled this."

"The hotel is in a great location with beach access and a lovely pool. The staff are all so friendly. Some parts of the building are a bit tired but the room was great and very clean. Can’t imagine the upkeep required so I think they are doing a good job. Would go again if I get the chance."
