Hotels in Sofia City Center, Sofia

The hotel is in a great location and has a lot of space. But I don't understand why it's so stuffy inside... It's already 14 degrees outside at night, but the thermometer in the bathroom still shows 30 degrees. I opened the window and turned the air conditioner to 15 degrees, but sleeping on the bed was still like sleeping on a kang...

Not only were the rooms clean and impeccable, but the hotel was also incredibly beautiful from the outside. It was within walking distance of the shopping street and tourist attractions such as Nevsky Cathedral and St. Sophia Cathedral.

The hotel has a great location in the centre of the city and is great for tourism. Great food in the restaurant for breakfast and throughout the day. Staff in the restaurant and hotel were friendly and helpful. Nice stay for six nights.

It is a very beautiful hotel inside out. What does not make this hotel great is the poor service of at least two sections of the hotel from my personal experience. Number one disappointment is the Beauty Salon. I made an appointment for meniscus at 16:30 on September 22. I showed up on time only to be told by the receptionist that the appointment is at 16:45. I told her that is not true and in fact I confirmed it with her twice. It was apparent that someone cut into the line and from our conversation I know she knew it as well. Yet, she was lying through her teeth that is totally beyond me. The worst was yet to come, I was told when I came down again at 16:45, I had to wait for another 20 minutes. That is the end of the story. Second incident is at the “well known” restaurant Mediterra. To make a long story shot, the Greek style calamari I ordered looked as well as tasted like burned wood log. To the main course “beef cheeks” the only thing I could think about it is what I once tasted on a Lufthansa flight business class section is 10 times better. Other than that I had a very pleasant stay and the receptionists are extremely friendly and helpful. I should also add the location of the hotel is very convenient and has easy access to all the main attractions.

Nice place, with good location. For me the prices are little bit higher. I stayed at this place 2 years ago and the prices were more than two times lower

We were two couples. One in a classic room and one in an Executive room. Always book an Executive room. It is a typical business hotel room, while the classic room needs urgent attention and looks more like a guesthouse. In the Executive room the toilet was poorly cleaned on arrival and remained so throughout the stay (3 nights). Something unthinkable anywhere else. The receptionist was friendly despite his poor English, although he gave us the wrong room he realised when we got to the lift. Breakfast was good. Maybe not what was expected for a 4 star hotel but there was variety including some typical dishes. Complimentary water but only on the first day. Views of a police station, and very close to the Governor's Office and the centre of Sofia on an easy and safe path. No noise despite the casino. The water in the pool was said to be at 29 degrees. But no. It was FREEZING. Overall a good experience for the couple in the Executive room.

Nice room, clean and tidy, spotless, comfortable bed, good service staff

Because the flight was very late, I was lucky to catch the last subway from the airport to the city, and it was not too far to walk to the hotel. The room was not very big, as shown in the photos, but the supplies were complete. Maybe it was due to the jet lag, after taking a shower and sleeping on the bed, I felt that it was the most comfortable bed since my trip to Europe.

This hotel is in the center of Sofia, very close to the hotel, with shopping malls and restaurants. But the decoration of the hotel is relatively old. Well, the restaurant is still good, I will continue to stay and recommend it next time.

The hotel is located in the center of Sofia, convenient to everywhere. The room is big and the bed is good. The breakfast is above average. The facilities are complete and you can exercise.
