"Not as expected, shower very tiny opening so larger people struggle. Bedding ripped! Staff were amazing tho, very friendly and welcoming."

"Stayed here as we were attending a wedding at the registry office (opposite). Found the check-in staff to be very friendly and efficient. Only one elevator was functioning during our stay. Had booked a double room but was initially allocated a twin, this issue was resolved immediately and without any fuss. Rooms were small but contained all you needed, however as they all had a connecting door there was an issue with people talking in the next-door room late at night and during the afternoon. Buffet breakfast was pretty standard ”luke warm” stuff made worse by a lack of marmalade."

"The location of the hotel is not very convenient. There are no good transportation facilities, supermarkets and restaurants in the surrounding area. You need to walk for a while to reach the bus station and restaurants. The hotel's front desk clerk was very nice, but the hotel did not provide comprehensive equipment, such as slippers and hairdryers."

"Very warm welcome and everything as it should be. Swift service both at the hotel and Beefeater next door. Good location for motorway but it’s not in Solihull- it’s in Shirley which is a distance from Solihull itself. No problem to us though. "

"When | booked this room in the description was the word 'accessable' was in the description, this means it is a wheelchair accessable room, I, by lack of a correct description booked this room, as all of these rooms are right by reception I did not get a good nights sleep, too many people in and out at all hours, I had asked for a quiet room, I was told that if I wanted to change rooms I would have to pay an extra £5.00, this I agreed to, unfortunatly there were no other rooms available, when I asked why the room had not been described at wheelchair accessable which I would not have book as I am not disabled and would not book that room as a genuine disabled person may have wanted it. I was told it was down to political correctness. Woke rubbish strikes again, for goodness sake it is what it is, its wheelchair accessable, as I misunderstood the description so could a genuine disabled person and would possibly not have booked this room thinking it didn't have the right facilities in it!!"
