Willowbank Resort

We enjoyed our visit to Willowbank! Everyone was so kind and friendly especially Daivone! We wish we had him for our evening restaurant service as he was a true people person who wanted everyone to enjoy their meal. The views from Willowbank are amazing! True Bermuda! Love the quiet beaches. We will return soon!

Incredible Place with Incredible People. I stayed at Willowbank Resort with my husband, 2 year old, and my brothers. I fell in love with the place. The staff were absolutely BEYOND. Front desk, security, the restaurant, the owners - the most wonderful people, so lovely, so kind and such a joy to be around. From the first night on front desk we were assisted to our rooms and stayed in Tamarisk 1 and Tamarisk 4 - unbeatable view with a superb little private beach. We ate at the restaurant most nights and enjoyed our meals so much. The grounds and the facilities themselves are great, super chilled out , super clean and incredibly family friendly. My little daughter loved it so much and it brought me so much joy. I am going to give a more fuller review to name the wonderful people who we interacted with at a later date as I simply have not gotten round to doing so, but if you are in two minds if you should stay here then just go for it. 2 years prior we had gotten married and stayed at Cambridge Beaches and had a good time, we were going to go there again but decided to try Willowbank and I really enjoyed the peacefulness low key vibe - wild, free and super peaceful, a true gem. My husband and I stayed at Willowbank Resort from July 3–7, 2025 — our second time returning to this beautiful and peaceful place. Once again, it felt like our own private retreat. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite with a kitchen, a sofa bed, a king-size bed, two TVs, and A/C — just the right setup for us. The space felt familiar and personal, and we appreciated the balance between comfort and simplicity. The ocean view from the room is absolutely magnificent — quiet, private, and endlessly calming. Willowbank is located in a serene part of the island, with warm, still waters and a gentle beach just steps away. The mild climate and peaceful surroundings make it an ideal spot to unwind. We especially loved the sense of privacy. The concierge checked in daily to ask what we needed, but we preferred a low-key stay, so it worked perfectly for us. The food was fresh and delicious every day — Chef Nicolas continues to impress with his flavorful and thoughtfully prepared meals. And the staff, as always, made the experience feel warm and welcoming. Deivon, Gina, Rita, Vicky, and Terry were all so kind and helpful. One standout moment: I had accidentally left my purse behind — with all my documents — just as we arrived at the airport to fly home. The hotel immediately reached out, and Gina went above and beyond by driving all the way to the airport to deliver it in person. Thanks to their quick thinking and kindness, a stressful situation was handled with calm and care. We’re so grateful for another unforgettable stay and look forward to returning again. Willowbank is truly a special place — peaceful, beautiful, and run by people who genuinely care.

We visited Willowbank on a day pass & had the greatest day! We were treated to a very warm welcome at reception, who arranged for our host Dionne, who was fabulous and friendly throughout our visit! We had a tour of ten property, including the beaches and pool. The hotel presents well, and is immaculately clean. We spent the morning at the pool with our kids aged 7 & 10 and they made use of a floaty and pool noodles provided. Towels were also provided along with sunloungers. We then headed to lunch & the service was very welcoming and engaging! The chef came out and met us, the food was fresh, delicious, good value for money with generous portions. We then headed down to the beach, the ocean was beautiful- as expected in Bermuda! Wonderful views & again immaculately clean. Our host Dionne came by twice during our stay to check that we had all we needed, it was greatly appreciated & we were made to feel very welcome! We would 100% recommend the Willowbank resort & hope to come back during our next visit!

This “resort” is a glorified motel, that after every mishap, left my husband and I constantly stating to each other “welp, it’ll be a funny story one day”. Today is that day. I pride myself on always doing a significant amount of research before leaving on a trip. With that said, I am not sure if the staff are paying to remove negative reviews, or if no one has stayed at this resort since 2005, but after returning home from the Willowbank Resort, I feel utterly catfished. When we first arrived at check-in, there was a family of four in front of us checking in, and when it was our turn, the woman at the front desk said she was so overwhelmed by the previous family checking in (who had since walked away), that she could not direct us to our room and instead gave us a packet of information (which included a map) and said to refer to the map if we got lost finding our building. Weird, but fine whatever, we will find the building on our own. Before we could leave the office we had to sign a document stating that if we are injured in any way on their property, or if anything is stolen from us on their property, they are not liable. Also weird, but whatever, maybe this is in the fine print of other resorts I’ve stayed at and I just didn’t realize (remember this, I will come back to it later). We wander around for a bit and eventually find the building we are staying in and after going in, I go to use the bathroom and there is someone’s toothpaste spit up in the sink… clearly indicating this room has not been cleaned (even though the beds were made). I leave the bathroom to tell my husband to check the bed for bed-bugs because the state of this room looked like it would have bugs. While he was looking for bed bugs, I spotted black mold all over one of the pillows (visible with the pillow cover on). In looking at the bed we also noticed the lampshade for the lamp between the two queen beds had burn marks up the side of it as if it was in a fire. Normally, finding the mold would have caused us to change resorts immediately, but all surrounding hotels were booked for the weekend. My husband and I didn’t want to make a fuss because we understand things happen and maybe this room was turned over by mistake when it wasn’t ready for guests yet, so we decided to call the front desk - no answer. We headed down to the front desk in person and asked for a new room and thankfully a woman (who I assume is the owner) overheard our conversation with the woman at the front desk and gave us a new room. At first glance, the room looked much better than the previous one, so we thanked her and accepted the room switch. Immediately after she left, we noticed the air conditioning did not work (blew out room temperature air), the fire alarm was missing and loose wires were dangling from the ceiling where it should be, and the hot water ran out after showering for 5 min… but there was no mold on the pillows…so small win. My partner and I stayed here along with many other couples at the end of May for 5 nights and it had everything we needed. The continental breakfast was very convenient for busy days. Shoutout to Davione for the amazing service!! We also ordered from the breakfast and lunch menu and the food was super tasty and fresh. Our group enjoyed using the pickleball/tennis courts here. We brought our own pickleball paddles and were able to borrow some from the resort as well. Overall, very happy with our decision to stay here.
