Looking for a decently priced hotel and lovely service hotel close to Huanglong Station? This is it. Hotel is owned by a friendly family and they are very helpful. They cannot speak English but the daughter added me on WeChat to communicate about what I needed anything. She also guided me through the process of what to do to be able to watch English movies. The hotel is neat and clean, and facilities are decent. The bed is cozy and comfortable, with an electric blanket. I was invited for a hotpot dinner, though I wasn't able to go. I requested breakfast on the day I left and they were more than willing to accommodate me - the breakfast was delicious! Yummy noodles. The owner dropped me at the station in time. There are a few shops (supermarkets and restaurants) within walking distance from the hotel. There is a comfortable lounge area where free tea is available, and some snacks can be bought at reception. It has a nice view (especially if it's snowing). There's a river directly outside of the hotel that can be walked along. I also saw a park area. The hot water was a bit of problem, as it didn't warm up fast enough, then would suddenly go ice cold - so perhaps not great in winter. If this problem is fixed it would definitely be a good place to stay at to be closer to the station. Overall, the service and hospitality was great and I would definitely book this hotel again.

We went on a private trip without a guide, relying on trip.com and planning our own itinerary. The place is quiet and peaceful. The staff are friendly and helpful with information. However, they only speak Chinese.

The room conditions were excellent, underfloor heating was very effective for cold weather conditions. The hotel owner was very helpful and I received very warmth hospitality.

The room is very clean, with an electric blanket to keep you warm when sleeping, the price is very reasonable, the boss is very enthusiastic, and the most important thing is that the breakfast is very rich. The room is quite big and the surrounding is very quiet. Although the breakfast is simple, the tsampa tea made by my mother is really delicious. The highland barley cakes are delicious (but it is not recommended to eat too much before going to Huanglong)

Highly recommended. The landlord is a ******* couple, very welcoming, the room is very warm, and they can make an appointment to pick you up at the station. We drank butter tea and chatted on the second floor of their house at night. The second floor is a teahouse during the daytime, decorated in a typical ******* style. There is a river outside, and there is a restaurant across the bridge. The breakfast is simple. Very good
