Be aware there are four flights of stairs to walk up. It is not an easy climb. The headboard is dirty & peeling & it transfered onto our clothes, skin & hair. The cover on the bed is very pilled & poor quality. Beautiful location over looking the sea.

Extremely false advertising, fake photos, & dirty EXTREMELY false advertising. Must be fake photos. a common area patio with chairs, sofas, etc outside - did not exist a restaurant that you could sit at - did not exist in the bathroom - a makeup mirror - was broken off and wasn’t there so it did not exist bidet - did not exist bar - did not exist air conditioning - the heater was broken so the hot air did not come out. said there was a picnic area - there was absolutely not. The stairs did not have handrails - only at the very top apartment - the rest of the stairs did not Place is very misleading - had to walk up at least 5 flights of stairs. at night the entrance is not lit and there are no lights you can turn on, so it is very hard to see. the place was dirty - could tell they didn’t clean very well. in the bathroom - the toothbrush holder had dirt in it, as well as beard trimmings. The inside of the shower - you could tell the rim of the shower was not cleaned very well. before we even took a shower, there was water stains on the shower. and some other dirt details in the shower. the towels - were disgusting. We received towels with stains on them. they didn’t look cleaned. they are white towels - at least use bleach? they had weird red stains as well as dirt looking stains. we did ask for a new set of towels, which they brought the same day - although the towels they brought were not clean either and had several mysterious stains/dirt marks on them.

Loved the property! The manager was incredibly patient and easy to contact, sent easy-to-understand self-check-in instructions in advance, and helped me a lot (transit tips and when I left my phone in a taxi eek!). The location in the Marina Grande is very unique with steeped buildings around you and a walking corridor right below your patio. It was exactly what I wanted. For anyone curious: room 1 is on the right (east?) side of the building facing the sea so I imagine room 2 has even better views. Disliked · These things did not bother me but some travelers should keep in mind: many many flights of stairs; somewhat confusing stairwell even with helpful manager video; 15-20 min walking distance from the city center is not to be trifled with if you think you'll be easily tired; and the property is a simple bedroom with no real additional space. Again, not a problem for me but I want to emphasize for other travelers!

Clean, easy, good location A great, clean place right on the quiet harbor (in winter). We were texted clear instructions for parking and arrival. Very responsive host, though off-site. Not a ton of privacy because of thin walls, but that's ok. Parking was free though we had to walk about 5 mins. Overall, a good stay.

Algo no previsto Fue complicado pues con más de setenta años a cuestas debíamos subir tres niveles y para peor con lluvia.

El lugar se encuentra cerca de una pequeña caleta, donde hay un par de restaurantes pero algo alejado del sector céntrico y del embarcadero donde salen los ferrys. Para llegar hay que caminar bastante desde la estación. El problema fue a la llegada: un callejón oscuro y lleno de bolsas de basura que daba miedo. Siguiendo las instrucciones del anfitrión logramos llegar a nuestra habitación, luego de subir una serie de escalas angostas, que fue mucho para mi. La habitación es cómoda y por la pequeña ventana se logra divisar el mar. La terraza da hacia los departamentos vecinos así es que solo se ven otras ventanas y la ropa tendida. Nuestra pieza era una mansarda y al ser tres, más de una vez chocamos la cabeza con el techo. Tiene buen wi fi y buena ducha. En el piso de abajo hay como una cocina compartida por si alguien quiere llevar algo (nosotros no la ocupamos). El dueño fue amable en responder nuestras dudas pero por relación precio calidad hay otras alternativas mejores en sorrento.
