Villa Pane Resort

Gefallen hat uns: Die Betreiberfamilie war sehr nett. An einem Abend haben wir in der Unterkunft zu Abend gegessen. Die authentisch hausgemachten Ravioli und die gegrillten Calamari waren große Klasse. Nicht gefallen hat uns: Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon gebucht. Wenn man sich die Fotos auf *********** anschaut, wird suggeriert, dass man auch wirklich ein Zimmer mit einem Balkon bekommt, auf dem man sitzen kann. Unser Zimmer war zum ersten sehr klein und hatte zum anderen lediglich ein bodentiefes Fenster mit einen halbhohen Gitter davor. Das ganze wurde von oben noch durch eine Dachschräge begrenzt, unter der ich gerade so aufrecht stehen konnte. Von einen echten Balkon keine Spur. Als ich die bei dem Betreiber angesprochen habe, wurde mir erklärt, dass es sich bei dem Fenster um einen "französischen Balkon" handelte und die die gleiche Zimmerkategorie sei, wie die Zimmer mit echtem Balkon. Da das Haus ausgebucht sei, könne er uns leider kein anderes Zimmer anbieten. Aus meiner Sicht erfüllt diese Praktik mindestens den Tatbestand der irreführenden Werbung, wenn nicht des Betruges. Die Wände zwischen den Zimmern sind papierdünn und man hört wirklich alles was im Nachbarzimmerpassiert. Wenn man ruhige Nachbarn hat, sicherlich kein Problem. In der letzten Nacht hatten wir allerdings welche, die die ganze Nacht Party gemacht haben. Klopfen an die Wand hat das Paar neben uns offenbar nur noch zu mehr Lärm animiert. Schließlich habe ich um 1:30 den Betreiber auf dem Handy angerufen habe und dieser hat dann offensichtlich für Ruhe gesorgt. Die Unterkunft ist mit allem, was größer ist als ein Kleinwagen, aufgrund der extrem engen Auffahrt nicht mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Die Betreiber empfehlen daher, auf der ca. 500 Meter unterhalb der Unterkunft gelegenen Straße zu parken. Die Gäste werden dann von den Betreibern zur Unterkunft gefahren. Uns wurde das als "sicher" verkauft, mit dem Ergebnis, dass bei unserem Leihwagen am Die Betreiber empfehlen daher das eigene Auto auf der ca. 500 Meter unterhalb vom Hotel gelegenen Hauptstraße zu parken und sich hoch fahren zu lassen. Uns wurde das als "sicher" angepriesen, mit dem Ergebnis, dass am zweiten Morgen bei unserem Leihwagen die vorderen Blinker ausgebaut und geklaut waren....

Nice family run Villa in Sorrento Very nice, family run Villa. Team takes personal care of your requirements and makes you comfortable. Home style breakfast and other meals available. Close to Sorrento city and ferry pier. However due to narrow path need to depend on Villa team to collect you from either Sorrento square or bottom of hill. From Sorrento ferry pier we did day excursions to capri and positano.

Everything on the property was very beautiful. Beginning with the hospitality of the owners to the friendly and accommodating staff. The rooms were very pleasant with a charm. All room were equipped with all you needed. The grounds were spectacular with very pretty landscaping and the view from our balcony was stunning! The breakfast provided was a mixture of pleasant surprises every morning and delicious. The shuttle to and from was a very convenient option and most definitely very flexible to our schedule. Loved it!!!!

We had such fun, Ana Maria was our chef for the day, her sense of humour soon had everyone laughing and cooking. Really super experience, a great thing to do while in Sorrento. Making authentic Italian food with products from the garden - delicious

This place is absolutely terrible it is in a terrible location and although we booked a private transfer we were dumped at the bottom of the hill because the car could not get up it. My partner had to walk for 20 minutes to get to the hotel and then finally someone came down to retrieve me and our suitcases not a good start to what was a break to celebrate the finish of my cancer treatment. Once inside it was run down and shabby got into the room and it was tiny and smelt like sewage in the bathroom that was the start of a terrible stay. Got up the next day and considering this is meant to be a cooking school the breakfast was the worst I have ever encountered cold coffee scrambled eggs that had gone grey because they had sat their for so long hard pastries and cake’s absolutely disgusting. We thought ah well we will make the best of it . They provide a shuttle service and you are at their mercy to get anywhere their and have to book to get into Sorrento so off we went booked the transport back for nine that evening received a text saying they were going to be 10 minutes late that turned into 40 minutes. Got back and the Sunflower room we were staying in was opposite another villa the kids opposite were screaming until 1.30 in the morning and dogs were barking constantly all night I couldn’t sleep it was that bad this happened every night of our stay. We got up to go into Sorrento the maid knocked at 9.30 told her we would be 10 minutes got back that night she hadn’t even been in. Honestly I could go on if you have mobility problems and like a nice clean place to stay don’t bother the owners are rude and they make you feel like you are doing them a favour. I can honestly say I have been all over the world and this is the absolute worst upon worst place we have ever stayed. It was expensive so we will be taking this up with love holidays who we booked it through steer well clear of this place it’s an absolute joke and a disgrace as we were packing we left a bottle of gin and a few drinks we had bought for the fridge this was an absolute corker went out to Sorrento came back to retrieve our luggage and went to get some water in the bar and guess what the bottle of gin was in the bar ready to sell goodness me these people have no shame. If you want to be in the middle of nowhere with a sewage smelling room with kids screaming all night and dogs barking and food that is inedible then go ahead if not book somewhere else what should have been a relaxing experience for me celebrating the end of my treatment was hell sadly we nicknamed it the Bates Motel worst worst hotel and location ever. One positive Sorrento was beautiful but please do not stay here.

My husband & I visited Villa Pane for a cooking class on our honeymoon. Villa Pane is a family run & owned farm & bed & breakfast, & you are treated exactly like family for the ENTIRE experience. We were picked up from our hotel by Luigi & then given a private tour of the grounds & garden before being introduced to our chef for the night, a different Luigi! We were greeted with several refreshments & snacks to sample & also given a copy to take home of all the recipes we made. We had the best time making homemade pasta & listening to music while drinking wine. Our hosts went out of their way to make sure we were having a great time, & the owner AnnaMaria gave us a tour of the family kitchen while we waited for our food to cook. Afterwards, we got to eat our meal while watching the sunset over the ocean, the most spectacular view you could ever dream of.
