Where do i start. My fiancee and i just spent 10 absolutely amazing days here. I can only say that the negative reviews are totally against the grain. We arrived at the resort by taxi doolittles ferry transferred us to our our resort. We were in awe of the breathtaking view that awaited us. We checked in and went to our firefly studio. It was beautiful. Clean smelt lovely. We had room 51 a four poster bed fresh petals towels were placed on the bed. Then we seen the balcony. Wow what a view. We met the owner david on our first night. He's a lovely man with a lovely soul. We clicked instantly. He went above and beyond and took us out in his car on two occasions. We seen the whole of the island, he even took us to the supermarket. We had such laughs in the evening. This is a beautiful clean friendly resort and our bar tenders dillon and Glen were fantastic. So attentive and professional. We will be going again next year. Thankyou all for making our stay an amazing one. Love kat and Tony xxx

The price is fair and the rooms are nice. When I have feedback on the beach being dirty the hotel took prompt actions and filled five large bags of trash. I also pointed out that the portable fire extinguishers have no tag indicating that they have had yearly inspection by a certified company, and some of them are empty. I also send message regarding that, but no answer. The rooms have no smoke detectors so bring your own. The boat is said to begin service at 7, but it is more about 7:30. Same with breakfast that is to be served from 8, it starts by 8.30. First thing you see arriving with the boat is a broken sun chair throwed along the shoreline, so the first impression is bad. Nevertheless, if they refill the portable extinguishers, keep the beach clean and remove the broken sun chair I will come again.

First I must begin by saying Marigot Bay is one of the most beautiful places in St. Lucia however this resort is not recommended. The grounds are terribly kept, empty bottles, broken tiles all around the room like it is under construction. Bird dropping and dusty floors, the balcony and chairs are dirty. There is no hot water in the room and to make things worse it was an upgraded room. I love swimming and the resort has no diving, snorkeling gear for the guests, everything has to be rented from the locals who charge extreme prices even for locals which I am. This was a trip for relaxation for 3 couples for 2 nights and almost $8000.00 was spent, the marketing manager who we dealt with apparently didn't communicate properly to the restaurant staff so there was a lot of confusion as to what we were allowed to eat and drink for two days straight, the third day was okay though as the staff were familiar by then. The owner is an old English man who sits at the bar daily at happy hour just taking up space like a paying guests making all the restaurant staff uncomfortable. Not to mention he is truly disliked by his staff. Little to no entertainment so when you're there be ready to go out and enjoy the scenery, forget about a good rest as the room has frogs and the be is very uncomfortable. The phones in the room do not work so be prepared to walk for everything or shout from the balcony if that works for you. The staff are delightful however the restaurant doesn't have everything on the menu, the one good thing there is the food to be honest, kudos to the kitchen staff. Needs new management or ownership, investors reading, this is the place but negotiate as best with the owner. Will never do business with the resort ever again!

Advertised by British Airways Holidays so expected the resort to live up to its name. There is no Dive centre on site, only a sign saying it is up for sale. They could not offer any PADI Certified alternative, so a big let down for my wife and I. Who had planned to take our basic PADI Certification there. British Airways holidays need to change the resort description it is offering an on site PADI dive option that does not exist and speaking to the staff this has been the case for about a year

Bed bugs, roaches, ants, ill equipped room, exposed live wires, no Wi-Fi, twice absolutely no water in room-no shower or toilets. Phone in room not working, no matches for gas stove, changed rooms and more bed bugs, $20.00 for a generic cocktail is exorbitant, daytime staff is unhelpful and rude, the view is nice.

terrible experience Let’s discuss. When I first picked this hotel. There was no mention that in order to get to the hotel you must take a water taxi over which was not the biggest deal but gives no mention on the booking or the hotel website. Secondly, anytime we asked the staff for something, it was as if we were bothering them. The staff were not working efficient. It took 25-30 min for them to make scrambled eggs for two. Let’s now discuss the sleeping arrangement. WiFi works when it feels like it, bugs come and go through the cracked door sweep and we running water would occasionally be turned off randomly and we would have to ask for it to be turned back on. Not to mention, out room had BED BUGS!!!! BOTH my sister and I woke up with clusters of red dots and welts all over our body two days in a row. The staff was no receptive and told us this is the FIRST they’ve heard about this. They refused to comp us a night or two when we asked politely and only replied with a “sorry about that”. We were beyond disappointed that two we both saved up to enjoy a few days off of work and school together turned into such a terrible ending to our trip. After checking out early because we were grossed out of the “resort” we went to a local restruant and while speaking to some staff they had actually left working at Marigot bay dive resort because they already knew it had bed bugs and guest complained all the time!!!!
