We received the warmest of welcomes at the Fairfield Inn & Suites from Emily (Emily Boone) ! Having travelled up from Miami, it's fair to say that this was the best welcome that we received at any of the hotels that we checked into on our way up to Washington DC. The room was clean and ample for our needs. The hotel was ideally located with eateries nearby and was not too far from Busch Gardens in Williamsburg (approx 1 hours drive). We did have a rather noisy neighbour who decided that he was going to play his music at full blast just before 6am ! However, a trip down to reception and the lovely lady on reception followed me back upstairs and spoke to the guy next door. The music stopped after that ! All in all a faultless stay, we would definitely stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it !

Desk staff were not particularly helpful or friendly and gave confusing info about what Was considered room attending. We were ASKED upon check in if we wanted room to be serviced and I said yes. We were there three nights. When it had not been served by last day we asked about it and were told there was no service and if I wanted towels I had to come to front desk. Which I did. This was not same person who checked us in. The staff taking care of breakfast and rooms were wonderful and helpful. Needed a fresh bath mat and upstairs worker who was cleaning another room gave me one. Pool was NOT heated. Perhaps tell people that. Pool room was freezing.

Just a quick note. First time at this Fairfield but wanted to note the room is much better than the room I just stayed in at the AC Hotel in Columbus. Clean and bright. It’s also relatively quiet being just off of 95. The front desk person was nice and very helpful with dinner ideas. Good place to stay while on the road.

Worst hotel experience! I have a corporate account with this hotel for years and will no longer be considering using them. My business stay was for 3 weeks and I had to request my room to be switched 3xs due to loud noise. When given a room on the top floor to my surprise there was loud banging and someone running across back and forth. This was going on for Hours. Front desk was already aware I needed my sleep during the day due to my night shift job. That was the reason why my room was switched many times due to noise. But now this time you think they would give me a courtesy email, call or text that randomly some construction work was scheduled for today? Instead I had to ask and was told there was construction for Hvac going on. This sounds so shady and ridiculous since I never heard of a worker running back and forth with heavy shoes doing Hvac work. Is this some type of circus or weird olympics going on with the staff? I asked the staff here when I approached them and can honestly say the whole interaction with them was extremely awkward. One maintenance guy explained to me there was construction and at that same moment speaking with him I saw someone exit from the roof as I was there discussing the noise. Coincidence or not? Neither one of them wanted to give me eye contact after the whole ordeal. I was just told they will speak with them. If you are part of staff, I expect you to know your job role better than what you think. Its not rocket science. You got one job. You all are aware there are clients here in their rooms. What game are we playing here? Let me make the final move. You just lost my business with this corporate account.

The room was clean and comfortable. They offered free breakfast daily. The location is close to dining and fun activities.
