Easy access to beaches, local restaurants, limited availability for dockage within the marina for your boat with a seperate reservation, or access for kayaks, paddleboards, etc . Located within the 6 acre campus like property of Pointview Marina. We provide towels, pillows and linens are, you do not need to bring your own, unless you plan on using the sleeper sofa. Queen bed pull out for sheet sizes. There is water access for paddle boards and kayaks in the marina, approx. 400 ft. from the cottage. Dinnerware, glasses, utensils, flatware, cookware are all provided along with a Keurig coffeemaker. As an FYI the Matunuck Oyster Bar is nearby and accepts reservations. The second floor has 3 queen bedrooms, a bathroom with shower, and laundry. The home is completely furnished with linens and towels, books, video and board games, guitar, TVs in each bedroom and living room, high speed internet, window AC in each bedroom, large deck with a covered gazebo and a separate patio fire pit, both with substantial seating, as well as beach chairs, beach carts and coolers. The property is mostly surrounded by beautiful primitive stone walls with mature trees, soft grass around the house area, with an extended side yard where you’ll find a relaxing platform swing and a slack line obstacle course for all ages/abilities among the mature trees. There is a vegetable and herb garden for your convenience, with crop dependent on conditions and useage. Providence is 40 minutes away with the TF Green Airport 30 minutes away. This home is a short 1.9 miles (4 min drive) to East Matunuck Beach, one of the nicest beaches in New England, with a straight on view of Block Island and a long large rock jetty to climb on and watch the boats leaving Galilee (Block Island Ferry), and ideal for fishing. The Matunuck Oyster Bar is a 3 minute drive around the corner with other restaurants across the street and past the beach into Jerusalem, and the public park with basketball and tennis courts, soccer and baseball fields and a playground are just a short stroll away. Oh yeah, there’s also a 6 person hot tub and outdoor gas grilL, 2 fire pits and a large side yard with a slackline obstacle course for the kids...and adults. This 1940's farm cottage sits surrounded by open space. The area is in the Saugatucket River valley, in a little known hamlet called Mooresfield. This home is a rustic mini-working farm. There are many gardens and outdoor spaces here to enjoy peacefully after a long day of adventure. With a central South County location, the cottage is close to beaches, restaurants, shopping, rail, URI, and all points north and south. Newport is a scenic 20 minutes away. The house sits back and up from the road, and there is plenty of off street parking. The country road is sometimes busy, but that also means that it is an easy commute to anywhere you might go. A car would be needed to get around due to the rural nature of the property, but most destinations are only a 5 to 20 minute car ride away. Uber is a popular alternative to having a vehicle. 6 minutes to Rt 1 N&S. 5 minutes to the business district of Wakefield. You can stock up and never go shopping, or "run into town" for a last minute item.
